My husband flew this airplane at George AFB 1960 to 1964. It was his favorite plane to fly

Awsome F-104! So nice to have one flying again on this side of the Atlantic. Still my absolute favorite jetfighter of all times - simply a classic design and nothing looks and sounds (howls) like a Starfighter :-)

mine had the same problem with the F100s in Wiesbaden !!

Совершенно очевидно даже для слепого, что сотни таких "самолётов", летая всего лишь по кругу в экологически чистой Германии, послужили причиной глобального потепления.

Just found out yesterday that anyone with a pilot's license and a Class 3 medical (and a pile of money) can take a 2 week course and then FLY A STARFIGHTER. Solo. Then land on the Shuttle runway in Florida.

Indeed! A little known fact about the F-104 is that it could turn quite well. A retired Canadian Air Force pilot who flew CF-104’s out of Cold Lake related that below 10,000’ the 104 could sustain a 7g turn.
