    Deeply inspiring episode. It was great to hear David’s story and especially to see him in multi dimensional ways not just as an entrepreneur. Kudos to his amazing parents for being intentional about instilling sustainable values early and ones that have served his whole life. Among the many gems he dropped l, I loved his word about keeping a curated community around and recognizing that money doesn’t give you the right to mistreat people. Great episode from a son of Jamaica and the Caribbean! 🇯🇲

    Its eye opening to know that not everyone who is born and raised in Jamaica did not have to struggle to be successful. His parents did an amazing job raising him. He was given all the tools from a young age to prepare him for success, but he was sheltered. Am glad that football gave him his redirection.

    It is amazing how god made each and everyone of us destiny different. Being born in to families of different status, being fostered and protected and not educated of the experience of the lower class. Some wish they had a family with good moral values, to sit them down and ask what is their plan for the future, to guide them, to encourage, teach and promote a positive high-self esteem and mental space for them. In some homes the influence is negative.

    • @DavidMullings
      @DavidMullings 2 місяці тому

      You are quite right and this is why school, teachers in particular, is so crucial. We cannot control homes as a society, we can influence them, but we can control the school environment. Jamaica needs to do better by our students
