The title says How to Install and not How to replace the water filter. I really would like to figure out how and where to install the external water filter.

Hello, the type of filter will be stipulated in your manual. Alternatively you can search by brand and model number of your fridge to find out the exact type of filter required.

Hi Andrew, thanks for your question. F&P technical have advised that no bypass water filter exists. They advised to bypass the external water head, just connect the water pipe from the tap directly to the water inlet valve. This assumes that you have another water filter. This is important so that water valves/tubes in the fridge do not clog. Many thanks, Mary, Statewide Appliance Spares.
@@StatewideAppliances wait does this mean a water filter is absolutely necessary to prevent clogging inside the fridge? I just don't want to use a water filter and keep replacing it and don't mind drinking from the tap directly. Will the water still be cold?
