Very beautiful ! But in my opinion the waterfall is too "veiled". It should appear here and there most massive. Just like a body of water.

I was thinking the waterfall isn't totally convincing but I couldn't figure out why until I read your post. You're right, actual waterfalls vary in "thickness" across their width.
Still, it's way better than I could manage. ;>)

I wasn't convinced by the waterfall either. The whole rest of the dio is amazing. The waterfall still looks like and has the sheen of plastic sheets.
Theres no pleasing some people. UA-cam is full of negativity these days.
That waterfall looked so real and the combination of the vehicles is amazing! This the best diorama I've ever seen built.

I was on that mission.what you dont know is that on the return to base we were hit with heavy weapons fire and almost went down.steve potter(the hoist operator) was the crew chief , he was killed instantly.only my expert piloting skills brought the rest of us home.i was awarded the distinguished flying cross for this action.

ich bin ehrlich.... früher dachte ich immer, was für Leute sind das nur, die hunderte von Arbeitsstunden in sowas reinhauen, nur um dass "Zeug " dann 5min anzuschauen...
heute sitze ich gespannt vor einem 35min Video, lausche der entspannten Musik und bewundere die Kreativität und das handwerkliche Geschickt dieser Leute

The plastic sheet waterfall didn't turn out to realistic. Everything else looks spot on. But, you should think of another way to do the waterfalling water.IMO

I think the main problem is that the water foil bends at the bottom. water would not do that.
i suggest cutting the water a little short and fill the gap with water gel and foam effect.

Don’t agree - I think the waterfall is quite clever
Hi there long time modeller 65 yrs old now and being doing it since about 9 yrs old lol. Love the videos I see on here about the building diorama. So I used to sell models the tools and all the other items needed, I used to sell my own home made moulded rocks (made from long times trolling beaches for interesting rocks) Moulding them then casting them. I found that they can easy become damaged by little bumps with things showing that bad white Plaster so \i looked around and found a way to stop this I found in the BUILDING trade a substance in UK called ''febtone'' this is a powder dye that goes into cement so you can change the colour to match the brickwork coming in standard colours of yellow black red brown and brown (there may be more colours now or even then ) I added this powder to the mix of plaster giving my rocks a total colour throughout the mix and stopping the WHITE if damaged in anyway. Then using the washing system seen here made amazing rocks I hope this tip helps any modellers

I don’t get a chance to see many of your dioramas..but when I do stop & watch your videos I’m simply blown away on how talented you are..your a craftsman in what you do starting with a particular vehicle for an example & making it look soo real to what you have in your mind for a particular diorama to suit the vehicle in that environment is true craftsmanship..I thoroughly enjoyed watching it..just keep going👍😊

A superb diorama of a difficult theme with the waterfall. The only thing that I thought right at the end was the rotors of the helicopter. As its supposed to be flying the rotors would appear as spinning discs. I wonder if you could make something out of thin clear plastic to replicate the effect.
