  • A resource for health care professionals who care for Aboriginal mothers and babies.
This video has been developed for midwives, nurses and Aboriginal health workers to help them provide culturally considered care.
The video highlights the process involved when performing a post natal check for a well woman and baby and highlights the vital role of the Aboriginal Liaison Officer.
    Acknowledgments:
Funded by the Department of Health, this is one of two videos which are a collaboration between the Women's Maternity Services Education Program, the Women's Badjurr Bulok Wilam unit, the Koori Maternity Services team and VACCHO (Victoria's peak representative Aboriginal health body). Sista Girl Productions produced the videos. A special thank you to Isobel who features in the videos with her baby daughter Olivia.
