What wattage was the Blendtec you were using? The Nutribullet is 600watts. There appears to be a big difference in price as well, the cheapest Blendtec machine I found online was £475.00 ($620.00). One thing I would add, I have been using the NutriBullet for over 2 years now (I use it about 4 days a week) and have never experienced lumps in my smoothies and blending, but I think this is because I have never used frozen goods like you do (It's very rare indeed to find frozen fruit in supermarkets the UK), which I would imagine would take longer to blend.
WorldOfRandomStuff Well this would explain why you didn't find any lumps in the Blendtec given that the machine is two and a half times more powerful than the Nutribullet. It's a no brainier really. However, if you used fresh as opposed to frozen fruit I'm sure you'd get similar results.
Woman, the primary difference between Nutribullet and Blendtec or even VitaMix is the quantity. I have owned all three and now I prefer the Nutribullet 900 32 ounce. If one is blending for more than one person, then Blendtec or VM may be worth it. I personally love the to-go Nutribullet container. The slight difference in the blended drink you showed is negligible! People have the notion that they need these $599 blenders when nothing is further from the truth.
I agree. I started with an NB 600 and that got me through training for a half-marathon race. I bought the 900 and now have a Blendtec and Vitamix. I use them all and love them all.
The Nutribullet didn't blend as good bc (in the instruction manual it even says) you have to have more liquid in it. I have a Nutribullet and the price (100) was amazing and in the new 900 watt it has a to go lid which prevents spillage. Nutribullet is amazing.
Please do the same test with both the NutriBullit 900 and the NEW-AWESOME NutriBullit RX...the RX has 1700 watts of power !!! thats about 21/2 hp...just got mine and it is a beast and even with all that power its still only $200 !!! (minus 20% if u get it at BB&B with a coupon ) it even does hot soups...its still not a BlendTech or a Vitamix but for the $$$ saved its a workhorse for sure.
I have a Blentec (newer model than the one shown in this video) I have a nutri bullet and I have owned a Ninja (1200 Watt Pro) Blendtec is hands down the BEST blender you can get. Used by Starbucks and Jahmba Juice
sorry, but you didn't fill the nutribullet per the instructions, so that's why it clumped. I use mine nearly everyday, and have never had that issue. I've had mine for over 2 years and it's still going strong. I agree you would of course need to have an expectation that a Blendtec would be better when you pay hundreds of dollars for it. If I invested in a Blendtec it would be because I wanted to make larger quantity of smoothies, wanted to have more of a juice, and wanted to make soups and salsa's. I think the Blendtec, and the Vitamix are great kitchen tools, if they're used for more than just smoothies. I did appreciate you taking the time to do the video.
Janet Sisson also that blendtec has twice the wattage, I keep seeing these reviews that are skewd towards blendtec and vitamix, even the nutrininja infomercial uses the 600, if they compare it to the rx ppl would know the truth
you didnt fill the water to the line of the nutri bullet. we use ours everyday. if you follow the instructions youll get better results. theres even a blade that powders the flax seeds, we powder our dry beans all the time
Its true. Each machine has its own recipe method. Im sure NB does a nice work. But. Blendtec also makes much more stuff as a more wholesome investment. Like frozen fruit ice cream. Nut butters. Batters. Dough. Spreads. Soups. Overall its a more sophisticated product.
In th Nutribullet, the frozen fruit should ALWAYS go in first. The same with kale if using that. The Blendtec works in the opposite way, so really you never gave the bullet a chance .
Carol Binnie I don't think the Bullet did a bad job, but the Blendtec does have a lot more power. One would expect that, given the difference in price.
Considering the Blendtec is a $300-$400 blender I really think the $100 Nutri-Bullet did okay! I'm in between blenders right now....was considering a Ninja but now I'm liking the Blendtec again! Thanks for the video!l
my schools kitchen has a week ninja. today i tried to blend frozen berries and it started smoking. we need a new blender. its a school for kids with special needs called center for learning unlimited. we want a blend tech so bad.
I'm wondering why you didn't fill the water to the Max line for the Nutribullet? I beleive if you would have put the enough water, your smoothie would have been better.
Jenna, someone else said I should have had less liquid re another video. Personally, the nutribullet did an okay job...my issue is the build of it. It doesn't compare, and as I may have mentioned in this video, a friend of mine went through 3 of them in a little over 3 years. They didn't last as they just weren't that durable. But if cost is a factor, it'll do a decent job while it lasts.
+WorldOfRandomStuff I have had my Nutribullet for almost three years. If you use less water it works better. If you watch the ninja, they tell you a lot about the nutribullet. Like if you want thing broken down better use less.
Not a fair comparison is it. The Nutribullet cost 4x less than the Blendtec Designer Series. You would have to bring a Vitamix, Waring, Omni or any other blender of the same wattage and power to be fair.
I've seen blend-offs with other brands, but to me, it just seems that Vitamix seems to be biased to me, since I live only like...15 miles from their HQ. We've tried them all (well, except Blendtec, of course), we tried a Nutri-Bullet Pro, we tried a Ninja "Professional" Blender, uhm...yeah. Vitamix hands down, imho.
It was pretty obvious that a 2HP Blendtec was going to do a better job against a 600 watt machine.I don't like the NB, but it was an unfair comparison.
I dont think the Nutribullet is given a far chance here. The features arnt maximised. Ive got a magic bullet and if you read the manual it says it you able to pick it up and shake it whilst it blend. It improves the quality of smoothie so much. My friend has a blendtec and for me money id much rather save myself £200+ and get the nutribullet, plus a blendtec is so, so loud.
Nutri Ninja Pro! I don't get lumps sometimes it's a little powder on the side but it's negligible and I never get fruit lumps everything is always smooth. Haha smooth smoothie I just got it, get it? LOL I don't buy whole flaxseed either but not until I get my inheritance would I be able to buy a Blendtec or a Vitamix.
Grind the Flax or Chia seeds first in the Blendtec, then add the other ingredients. Your body will absorbed the valuable nutrients more fully that way. :) Nice review.
Actually the one thing great About the blend tech that's exactly what it was designed for to handle the tough blends anything over the two peak horsepower limit will easily blend better.
You put the ingredients in the blendtec & the nutribullet the same, so that makes it unfair against the nutribullet. Also the blendtec has a lot more of a stronger engine than the nutribullet. Obviously the blendtec was going to win in that case. The nutribullet can extract seeds etc which blendtec can't
I bought a box of 500 straws for next to nothing on Amazon and I also have stainless steel straws that I can wash out it's no big deal. I don't have a Nutribullet I have the hell's the name of it? LOL I will have to go look and get back to you but I have his nibs is sleeping in my recliner which is George the cat.

1560 watts. Very powerful!

When you put the protein powder and flax seeds in last with the nutribullet , it blends much better.
You can get a refurbished Blendtec with the wildside jar for $209, free shipping and new warranty.
have the same one for 2yrs now. nutri bullet has been good to our family!

I'm thinking of buying a blendtec, have you had any problems with the jar?

Also she didn't put the frozen fruit in first. You put the ingredients in opposite to the Blendtec for the Nutribullet. Plus not enough liquid in it

For my bullet blender bullet-style blender because I haven't checked yet I cut my bananas into 4 pieces I just don't want to have it be pushed.
Will It Blend? that is the question!

The Nutribullet definitely did okay. It's only the long term performance I would be concerned with.
the blend tech could blend the nutra bullet
Brady Fernandez Yes, LOL!
fish bord That's true!
my schools kitchen has a week ninja. today i tried to blend frozen berries and it started smoking. we need a new blender. its a school for kids with special needs called center for learning unlimited. we want a blend tech so bad.

But will it blend?
Thank you. I just felt the reviewer was all over the place. I would still go for the Nutribullet.
Just wanted to say thank you for the inspiration today$
!
You can‘t compare a Porsche with a beetle... 😜 (still, the smoothie an the right is smooother imo)
Blendtec $400 + NB $100 ???? No comparison at all and in anyways .
I've seen blend-offs with other brands, but to me, it just seems that Vitamix seems to be biased to me, since I live only like...15 miles from their HQ. you grind the flax seeds to dust using the milling blade then add to the shake smooth as you like your welcome
Comparing Blendtec to nutribullet - is like comparing Harvard student to kindergarten child !!! Enough said !
I TOLD YOU THE NUTRIBULLET JUST BLEND AND THE BLENDER TOO

Really not worth the price difference. Good review. Makes the nutribullet look good :)
Grind the Flax or Chia seeds first in the Blendtec, then add the other ingredients. Your body will absorbed the valuable nutrients more fully that way. :) Nice review.
Actually the one thing great About the blend tech that's exactly what it was designed for to handle the tough blends anything over the two peak horsepower limit will easily blend better.
they look the same to me. is it an advertisement for blendtec?
+Yutian Zhao No, I bought both machines for comparison purposes.
Just a Blendtec Designer Series
Can you read owners manuals?
Temicka Noney😂😂😂😂😂
Liked your video, its relaxing. Just got a blentec :)))
Not a fair test as the blendtec is a lot more powerful than the Nutribullet
Lady learn to use the nurtibullet the rx one probably better for you
You put the ingredients in the blendtec & the nutribullet the same, so that makes it unfair against the nutribullet. Also the blendtec has a lot more of a stronger engine than the nutribullet. Obviously the blendtec was going to win in that case. The nutribullet can extract seeds etc which blendtec can't
Carol Binnie What do you mean "extract" seeds?
I mean the Nutribullet can extract flax & chia seeds, although obviously the Blendtec can lol
Carol Binnie You had me confused when you said the Blendtec couldn't. ☺️ At the price point of the Blendtec, you'd expect it to be amazing.
Buy a Wildside+ Jar
not a fair comparison between both machines. She was not prepared and her cold was disruptive. I am sorry.
I agree, but why mention the cold?
THE NUTRIBULLET JUST BLEND FAST
Yes it blends
I bought a box of 500 straws for next to nothing on Amazon and I also have stainless steel straws that I can wash out it's no big deal. I don't have a Nutribullet I have the hell's the name of it? LOL I will have to go look and get back to you but I have his nibs is sleeping in my recliner which is George the cat.
le prix de ce blender
Well first you stop the NutriBullet before it stop on its own that’s why you have clumps duh.
