We had a rope hanging off the ceiling in our elementary school gym for grades 1-6. Nothing like falling a good 60 feet to a hard floor.
Thought I was the only one! Our gym teacher Mr. Wilson had some shit he called "top banana". That was when you got to the top of the rope and hung upside down by wrapping your legs around it, throwing your arms down and yelling, "Top Banana!"
