Yes, The swamp thing is really strong and can also throw slime balls that makes them more dangerous. I was using the magic towers to get rid of them as quick as possible 😂

@@Kingdom-Rush_kali let me complicate it further 1 no one was controlling Nazeru (the genie) or Umbra (the shadow god) and according to the lore Umbra was a cataclysmic entity with the power to end the world 2 we fought an entire tribe of cannibalistic savages and we can watch them cannibalize people in-game (so the cannibalism is not just rumors) 3 we saved some dwarves who (and I quote) "dug too deep" dwarves have been shown to be allies of good 4 we fought invading aliens in the jungle confirmed by finding hidden Yautja to be legally distinct non-copyrighted xenomorphs 5 we have the hero Bone Heart who (if you read the lore) used to be a good dragon allied with the elves however 1 we bunked with strange allies (necromancers, tribal axethrowers, DWAARP, and assassins guild) 2 we allied with many different pirates at three different locations (assuming you include the extra campaign Rising Tides) 3 we did invade huge swathes of land (the desert, the jungle, and the underground) 4 among our heroes are a skilled voodoo practitioner, an amazing assassin, a pirate, and an alien with the term 'sky hunter' attached so I ask again are we the good guys or the bad guys?

Nah, deep devil's reef is the worst among the paid towers. It's cool and all for it to be melee tower and magic tower but sadly lacking in both. For melee role it only has two soldiers and don't really have any proper cc and sustain. Plus the net throw ability is really bad, sure it stops the enemy but also making them invincible in the duration of the net. So you have no way of killing captured enemy and you'll just be overwhelmed when they're released if you don't have enough damage dealer. For magic tower role it has lower damage and has no aoe. That perfect storm ability only deal damage to one enemy. It's more worse when the tower use the ability on a low health enemy and just disappear after one lighting struck before cd. So combine two poorly executed role into one tower does not make it better. Definitely the worst paid tower.

When Ironhide foreshadow the release of the upcoming tower I'm actually really hyped for deep devil's reef. But it turns to be a disappoinment. 😂 I've sent complaint and my opinions about the tower but still didn't have any improvement till today.
That tower is pretty good, as I like the barrack-like towers deck (Elite Harassers, Dark Knights, Orc warriors den, Deep devil's reef, Grim cemetery/Swamp thing) But the skills of that tower would be better, For example: Redspine increased stats ability give them kinda more damage health that it does, net will not make the enemy invincible anymore (it need some resprite), but on big or flying enemies it will just slow down them, perfect storm instead of dealing damage to one enemy, will appear as pile of thunderclouds that slowing and damaging enemies and heal the Redspines (like in Frontiers).
