This video features some of my favourite levels, some of the more important story beats and a couple of boss battles. Plus the dude's got chainsaws attached to all of his limbs now which is pretty damn cool! :)
Hi! Good question. I personally don't usually find them overly stimulating as I just kinda zone into them, but I could certainly see it being an issue. My main problem is that I find it really hard to go from a really fast paced game like this to a slow paced game (an RPG Maker horror game for example). You get used to the speed and adrenaline, and get whiplash when you load up something slower! :)
This has got to be my favorite of the boomer shooters that I've played, just for the sheer fun factor. It nails the satisfaction of movement and speed better than most others do... grappling around and q-loading to skip special attack reload/recharge, slide-boosting at mach chicken into a crowd of grunts just to turn them into red mist (and explosions of armor if you get that upgrade) just to launch a missile at whatever was unlucky enough to be standing behind, and so on. I think I got this in EA when just after they added the (second?) boss battle, and grappling missiles. You can grapple onto missiles that you launch! Come on! Time to revisit this now that it's out of EA
Usually I'm not too fond of people trying to do the 'retro shooter' theme because I have no nostalgia for the pixelated graphics of the old days. This game with its cyberpunk theme just oozes cool though.
Yeah! There are some really cool monster designs too, but the game usually goes so fast you don't really get to see them. There is a bestiary/gallery in the game that allows you to check them out though.
YES! Old DOOM is great and all, but man did games like Serious Sam go all out with the insanely massive waves of enemies lol. We need more games inspired by those classics.

Hi! This is on Normal difficulty (Average Joe). I guess Normal mode is a little on the easy side, but for the sake of a playthrough I figure it's best to keep the momentum up and not get stuck dealing with enemies in the same area for too long. :)

A sniper rifle that sends you to your target instead of just shooting them, so you can kill them up close 😮 this game has my attention!
