The Denominator from Home Improvement, multiplying fractions

Tim & Jill try to help explain to Brad why he needs to learn how to multiply fractions, but then Jill has to make up a scenario of when he would use them in life....she has a weird example. Then they sit to help him with homework and Jill reads the directions about how to multiply fractions (Tim is very confused at this point). The reason why its called the Denominator is in the last few seconds of the clip. Play it for you class and you will hear them saying "I'm the denominator" the whole year for laughs.

Please. The media really has to make math seem so complicated. Jill could have said that she buys a pound and a half of cheese and, let's just say that, it costs a dollar eighty per pound. So that's 1 1/2 x 1 4/5. 3/2 x 9/5=27/10=2 7/10. So Jill would have to pay $2.70 for cheese.I should teach math
