I use a tuner on my headstock all the time live. I won't just depend on the one on my pedalboard as they can be wonky, plus I can see the tuning as I'm playing that way. I don't care what it looks like. As if the listeners give a rats. And Slash sucks harsh man, even at his best.
I do get it, and don't get me wrong I've done it on occasion, but I have witnessed so many gigs where they have it on that have been bad that I just expect it now 😭
