He did present a 60 seconds on The Verge a while back if my memory serves me correct, but that was the old verge with ***** in charge which was a lot better.
The Verge's topnotch video production along with MKBHD's topnotch review style. Exactly what I have been dreaming to watch. Way to go ***** looking forward to more collab videos like this.!
My dream smartphone... ... does my laundry for me, vacuums around the house, and picks my clothes out for me in the morning. Oh, and I want it to be indestructible and under $20.
Sounds like a early-2000s Nokia. I remember dropping my dad's Nokia down a flight of stairs and it left a dent/scuff on our hardwood floors. Nokia > Tank
I got 3 words for this: *MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!* This is why is subscribed to your videos, we share the exact same view on smartphones (although I'd be perfectly fine with a 5" 1080p screen to add some juice). Great job and really well produced!
funny how verge is so apple oriented and MKBHD is slightly android oriented but very fair with reviews. this video was really fun to watch and i think iverge took a few pointers from Marques because their Nexus 6 review video was a shocker. They even called it the "best phone," right now. they didnt even mention the iphone 6 or compare it. This collaboration was much needed.
thats easy build of htc 10 or nexus 6p with soft touch and boom sound, 3000-4000 miliamp battery, screen and camera of the note 7 with iphone image processing, stock android, latest snapdragon and of course 128 gbs of storage with expandable storage
Funny. I just discovered the Verge about a week ago. Great to see this collab. You guys should do more. Now on to the phone, we need a manufacturer to make the exact phone you just described or even something remotely close to it. It seems like we just get a bunch of false choices and compromises but we ould love to get something close to this review made. As always, great video *****
All of the things he mentioned we pretty much already have. Really, how much different would it be to use the phone in the video compared to an iPhone 6, note 4, or a nexus 6? I think it will be a long time before any phone manufacturer makes a phone that is objectively better than all of its competitors.
The verge dream phone: 1. 5.5 inch iPhone 6+ screen 2. The body of the iPhone 6+ 3. The speaker of the iPhone 6+ 4. An 8mp camera in the iPhone 6+ 5. IOS software 6. The iPhone 6+
Its fascinating seeing this in 2018, now knowing that even most of the non flagship phones in 2018 out do the requirements of a dream phone in 2014, techs growing rapidly, exciting times to live in.
A Vergecast with MKBHD, Nilay, Dieter, David, Dan, Chris, and Ross. A big round table that will go over a the tech of 2014. Phones, tablets, laptops, software, hardware, etc.
***** hah.flac but seriously, great video Marques, glad that this years edition of the dream phone had cool visualisation. I'm still using the Note 3, the fact that it's still in great shape is what's stopping me from getting the 4th :( That metal bezel doe
Why the hell are people complaining about The Verge on this video? This is the best collaboration, Marques' personality and style with The Verge's incredible cinematography. People's issues with their Apple-bias should be restricted to the reviewers and writers, we don't need that shit here.
One thing you've gotta credit The Verge for - their video editing is top notch. They're the best I've seen from any tech channel. Their videos are always dynamic and engrossing. Gotta give Jack his jacket on this one. Well done guys!
I can clearly see the change in the video. Dynamic, different angles, better image quality, better editing, a very good video overall. Keep colaborating with thise guys. They're good!
Marques - Can you please explain to me why 4K video is so important to you? A) almost no one has a 4K screen B) storage on a phone is still so limited 4K would fill it SUPER fast! C) publishing to UA-cam at 4K is almost pointless without a decent dataplan.
He has a 4k tv dummy this is mkbhd you talking about. Not many people have 4k tv's but the growing number of people have 4k monitors and he mentioned he would be comfortable owning that phone for the next 2 years, so you have to look into the future. Enough with Apple mentality where you are satisfied with outdated technology
***** "The Verge" consists of a big team of journalists, producers and al sorts of people. They often guide their reviews towards a non-geeky or tech savvy audience, which is why iDevices often come up on top in their reviews. Most of the gripes they have with android phones and iPhones alike are well justified in those same videos. So no, "The Verge" does not have a bias towards Apple.
Your dream smartphone is the same as mine, I would add fast charging, a fingerprint sensor in the back like the Nexus 6P, running Marshmallow, and 4 gigs of RAM.
+Julio Hacker however, every new device will use it in about 1-2 years. And it will be on more than just phones (Peripherals, TVs, etc.). I have a Nexus 6P, and I can't say there's a lack of good chargers for it.
Marques, you have little to no imagination =). My dream phone looks like this: -Plastic (high-quality), waterproof, scratch-resistant, dustproof, possibly bulletproof non-slippery shell, with nice rounded corners -supersensitive (gloves) 10-point capacitive touchscreen with anti-glare finish -4.3" - 4.5" FHD IPS panel with up to 400 nits of brightness -Something that protects your screen on falls, scratch-resistant -Detachable back cover - dual removable batteries inside (to swap batteries if neccessary), sim card slot -7mm-8mm thickness (explained later) -Boomsound stereo speakers up front (since it's the best pair of speakers availible atm) -3 Physical clicky buttons between the screen and bottom speaker, 4-6mm high -Clicky and durable side buttons on the RIGHT side (power button and volume control, volume control ABOVE power) -On top, 8mm thickness should be enough for FULL-SIZE USB 3.0 port (charging, power input/output), 3.5mm audiojack miniDP and a hole for small wacom PEN. On the left or the right side there could be microSD card reader. On the bottom we should have a high-performance docking port (able to run simultanously at least up to 2 high-res displays at high refresh rates, 2-3 audiojacks, and 3 USB 3.0 ports at full speed, without bottlenecking any of those) which can also be used as power input/output. -NFC, bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS support, last-gen mobile networks -Little to no useless bezel -Strong flashlight on the back (dual LED?) -Subtle front and rear facing cameras, maybe a flashlight on the front (The most important thing is not to get those lens huge and ugly, second most important is to get good resolution to the front camera and high frame-rates to the back). Present stuff: -64GB+ storage -Snapdragon 805/nVidia Tegra K1 -2GB of RAM is enough -"Pure Android" Future stuff: -mSATA (uSATA?) SSD storage, 250GB -Intel Core M series CPU -MS Windows / Linux OS (with proper UI modification) -Full-size SD card reader -Modular design -Lots of RAM -Additional ports 22nd century stuff: -Dedicated GPU
Daniel Solorio I say it could be done. I'm only concerned USB port and the pen would take too much space for the battery, but since we've seen chinese produce sub-5mm thick phones I think it's time for something like this.
why does everyone hate bezels? I think they are a necessary thing. They exist for a reason. They make it so that when you hold your phone and the tiny piece of your hand touches the screen, it wont interact with whatever you are doing!
I know apple uses pretty good accidental touch cancelation for their iPad lineup. Its also available on the iPhones but its less relevant because your hand almost never touches the sides of the display. This was an iOS 6 feature i believe.
I must be one of the few who DOES'T notice higher resolutions on phones... Even on bigger screens. When I made the jump from my 4S to the iPhone 6+, I was kind of disappointed by that. That moment when Apple released their retina display for the first time was the last moment I noticed the improvements made to display quality. Once the human eye can't make the difference in between pixels anymore, there is little use in increasing the resolution on such small displays. Now for computers or TV's there can be a difference because smaller details appear larger, therefore requiring higher density screens, but unless you plan to stick your phone to your head for some VR headset, including a 4k screen is nothing but a huge battery drain.
u won't notice it!!! i.e. unless you put your eyes right on the screen which is of no use.. I guess that's why apple is still using hd resolution where others have gone to QHD already... but if u r into stuffs like VR, like the gear VR from samsung, Ohh you will notice the difference, 1080p won't be enough, u might even want 4K..
But he went with a 2k screen... I would know I just ordered an LG G3 which has a 5.5" 1440P IPS panel, but honestly its not about raw pixels its about PPI, You could have a smartwatch with a 720p screen that would look as crisp as a 5.5" 1080p screen. Personally though I'd be down for 4k phones if they could manage to bring them out at decent prices, have hardware to power them and have good battery life.
I might be wrong but to my knowledge there is no 1080p iPhones meaning that you wouldn't notice the jump form the 4 to the 6. However if you bought a HTC one m8 or a Note you would because they are. Or you could buy an LG G3 with its 1440p display.
***** snapdragon 810 with 4 gigs of ram! I think it would be awesome to have a version of the Intel i5 or i7 ! I know that is a different processing platform but if it could be repurposed etc ! I really like the way you did this video and you seem very cool and confident while out and about with yo people! Lol. Keep doing videos like man and maybe even have a panel of a few people from the street
I'd have something similiar to Marques' phone except: - no speaker that make the chin and top piece bigger then necessary (except one for the earpiece) - no selfie camera (who needs these anyway) - with samsung like buttons on the chin (I kinda like when the buttons don't "steal" any screen realestate)
i agree with the first one, but if the manufacturer can somehow make them thin like the lg g3 then i'd get it. no need for front speakers, how often does someone really use them and makes a difference in their experience with the phone? i got the lg g3 and when i listen to music i simply turn the phone over. there should be a "selfie" camera. it comes in handy a lot and can get cool videos with picture in picture front/back camera simultaneously. i used to agree with your 3rd point but not anymore. i was gonna get the galaxy s5 but chose lg because i realized you can hide the on screen buttons providing MORE screen than u would with physical buttons
TexasBassFishing With no speakers I actually meant none :) My phone is always on vibrate only mode and when I want to listen to music I connect some headphones. Selfie camera might be interesting to some people, but for me it has no use at all. Never used it and probably never will. (I don't get the point of selfies anyway) The third point of course is probably the most optional for me, I could without them just fine but If I could choose, I'd rather have them
TexasBassFishing I use my phone speakers multiple times a day. When watching UA-cam videos and listening to music, the HTC front facing speakers make a massive difference. That's what I use a smartphone for though so I look for speakers over most other things. For that reason I would never switch from an HTC unless someone else was smart enough to use front facing speakers.
behemoth666123 i can't imagine not having speakers. you have to carry your earbuds everywhere. even if you do carry them, you gotta plug them in just to watch a single vine or something. annoying
Nailed it! I think you should find your way into the HTC dev labs and force them to watch this video because this is exactly the type of phone we ALL want! There's really no reason why in 2015 we can't have all of this in one affordable package. Great video
For me I would take the body of the hTC one M8, get rid of the bottom bezel that has the logo, have the on screen keys, move the volume rockers to the left side and the power button on the right kind of like Samsung's layout and add a camera button on the lower right but make it in a way so that it doesn't stick out all that much, keep the boom sound speakers, make the phone a bit thinner, Not as curved so it doesn't rock on a table. For the build I would have it have two options: One being aluminum without a removable back still having expandable storage, and the other being a matte plastic back (not like samsungs) with a removable back and a user replacable battery and the battery would be one that would last a week on battery kinda like old phones did lol. It would be water proof for up to 100 feet underwater and dust resitant :D screen would be gorilla glass 4 with a resolution of 3060 x2040 4K display lol and the screen would be 4.5 inches :P Power: 64 bit processor and all the newest processors and blah blah blah. (Optimized like an iPhone's processor) 4 GB of ram, and of course, it would run Android version 5.0 Lollipop, stock with a few more features like on nova launcher, a battery icon at the top, and the home, recent, and back buttons would be like the ones from kit kat (not those playstation buttons lol), but being bolded and shaped in a way to compliment material design. Make an option to customize the colour, shape, and size of most icons and appearance of everything. Finger print sensor would be under the camera, it would also be used as a heart beat monitor. The camera on the back will be a 50 Ultra mega pixel camera capable of recording 4K video at 60 FPS with dual flash that makes it incredible in low light as well :D with the sensor of a samsung phone. The flash will be located beside the back camera. (Also, the back camera will be concaved in a way so it doesn't have that much of a risk of scratching as the iPhone 6 for example) Front camera will be a 10 MP with a small dual flash beside it so that it doesn't ruin the look of the design. And finally, the features: Full of all the camera features of the htc one m8, iphone 6, samsung galaxy note 4, and all the other big companies out there. Multiwindow support designed like on the note 4. An S pen that is small and thin like on a DS, but telescopic and it would remove from the bottom. And it would get OTA updates on the day of release. And the phone would be made by.... no one, because there is no way to make a dream phone since all the features that we would want are all from different companies, so the only way to get that would be project ara :P
The old saying "Great minds think alike" is quite true. That's almost exactly what I'd want if I could build any phone. HTC lost me as a customer because they refused to get rid of their silly "ultrapixel" camera and I wanted a removable battery. Just two changes. Now was that asking for too much HTC? I've tested an M8 with my plain-Jane HTC Amaze 8 megapixel camera and the old phone always took clearer pictures than the bloated 4 megapixel camera. Also, the color reproduction on the M8 was always slightly off, especially when looking at brightly colored objects such as T-mobile's logo. The old Amaze reproduced the color very closely but the M8 was always a bit lighter and anyone will notice the difference. I've read a ton of reviews on the M8 and everyone keeps saying the camera is a bit of a letdown. Decided to get the LG G3 instead. The camera takes better pictures than my previous phone despite the confusing software.
I like your ideas, but a 4K resolution on a 4.5 inch display is overkill. The pixel density is too high for that size. At 4.5 inches, a 1080p display will be more than enough, not to mention a huge battery saver. Project Ara looks to be interesting and may break what we come to know as smartphones now. My fingers are crossed.
I'd still go with 1080p display, with the same technology as the iPhone 6 Plus. It's sharp, bright, perfect viewing angles, and I can't even tell that the resolution is poor. It's enough.
You nailed it. I couldn't help but think the same thing as I watched this video. Marques basically just described the Z3 without Sony's skin over stock android. And the Sony skin isn't terrible.
hellseagle21 I'm talking about the brightness of the screen. The viewing angles in my opinion exceed even AMOLED. Also, I'm perfectly fine with the Sony skin, I even prefer some of its elements over stock Android.
ForgingMastered Well of course the viewing angles are better than AMOLED and OLED, it's an ips panel, it has better angles and color accuracy, the brightness to is quite impressive. And true, out of all the Android phone manufacturers Sony doesn't have a heavy skin, it's basically just default Android with a few more features, unlike TouchWiz that barely feels like Android.
I'd advise staying clear of the verge. I watch your videos for the honest non biased reviews and opinions. The Verge is anything but that. Payed advertisements are rife on their channel
My dream phone (WITHIN REASON, NO SCI-FI STUFF HERE OKAY) - 5" 1200x1920 (5:8 aspect ratio) high-contrast IPS display, dual color calibration modes (sRGB, AdobeRGB1998), fully adjustable custom color profiles - Physical device size roughly equal to that of the Nexus 5, and _no thinner than 10mm at the thinnest point_ - 3000+ mAh battery for at least 6 hours of SOT - Unibody polycarbonate design (think Nokia N9/Lumia series) in all sorts of colors (PINK, LILAC AND MINT OPTIONS PLS, NOT JUST BLACK AND WHITE) - 128GB eMMC internal - MicroSDXC card slot up to 128GB (with firmware updates to add support for larger cards as they become available) - LTE-A, LTE, DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSPA, 3G, 2G, true "world phone" frequency support - 802.11ac wifi / Bluetooth 4.1 / Kleer Wireless Audio - Snapdragon 805 SoC - 3GB LPDDR3 RAM - Wolfson WM8994 or measured equivalent DAC - Audio analog output stage with enough current handling capability (~70mA peak or better) to drive low-impedance, high-sensitivity current-hungry headphones (i.e. the 9 ohm Shure SE846 and others like it), so they don't sound anemic and suffocated - *
***** Because when it's on the top, if I put it in my pocket, either the headphone plug ends up being pressed against the inside of my pocket (which can weaken the connection if the strain relief sucks or it's not a right-angle plug) or I have to put it in my pocket upside down and then risk dropping it to flip it over. Most phones have it on the top so the phone can be dropped in a cupholder, but I don't have a car so I prefer the jack on the bottom.
***** My Nexus 4 has the jack on top, which is okay-ish because the IEMs I usually use right now (Audio-Technica ATH-IM70) have a good sturdy right-angle plug with a hefty strain relief, so I can be a little rougher with them. But so many "lifestyle headphones" have really shitty plugs that are poorly designed for form over function, being really slim and shiny but with terrible strain relief that results in one or both channels cutting out when the wire inside the cable breaks off at the point of entry into the plug.
Disliked this because "iVerge". Marques should not be associated with these people. Marques by himself can beat iVerge at any minute. iVerge need Marques to balance their reviews but iVerge is still iVerge. Marques should own them.
Ultimate Trophy Hunter the video is great, hands down. But if you know how biased iVerge is you'll know that it's not the videography that matters. It's the content. Marques is the star in this and there's no problem but when the iVerge trio do the review it's a different story.
It is funny how inside of the box they thought. They thought all of that was high tech, and nothing could ever be improved. They never thought of totally bezel less displays with under display cameras or fingerprint scanners, etc. Obviously we are still limited just as much now, but I found it incredibly amusing to look back on the high tech novel ideas of 2014
That is good point. Even though they have less features i think it would be really cool and plus the pull down notifications is the main reason i would want that
Dream Smartphone 2015: Body: One Plus 2 (Sandstone black) Display: Galaxy S6 OS: Android Lollipop (stock android) Speakers: HTC One M9 Camera: Galaxy S6 Battery: 4000 mAh USB type-C Wireless charging Snapdragon 810 Touch ID 4 GB of RAM 128 GB And for good measure, the Motorola dimple.
This video was really good. The presentation, the concept, the animations basically everything was different and interesting. The content was also something different.
Sony already did its called the Xperia Z3 it has dual front speakers like htc 20.7mp with 4k video 7.3mm thin with battery life as good as the droid turbo 5.2 inch plus its fully ip68 waterproof and it has PS4 remote play it also has an aluminum frame
Rick Galindo If they did this already, why didn't MKBHD say it was the best phone in the world? What you said is just stupid, it doesn't even come close to what MKBHD said...
hardyharhar801 how is it not close it actually has extra things mkbhd didnt say like waterproof and PS4 remote play all it needs is more stock like software the only spec thats a little lower is the 801 2.5 ghz vs the 805 and the 805 is just an overclocked 801 with a bit better GPU
Rick Galindo Compare what MKBHD said and write it on the list, if you compare EVERYTHING on the z3 to EVERYTHING on his custom phone, it would be nothing alike. You even said a difference yourself, the z3 has a 5.2" screen while Marques wanted a 5.5" screen.
Why would you put the Tegra k1? The Denver cores are pretty bad for modern processors. The only point to a Tegra processor is the graphical performance, and honestly not many people actually play intensive games on their phones.
This was an awesome video and I would love to see a product like that on the market. I'm disappointed in The Verge (however) after the one reviewer said that you shouldn't even look at other phones just simply get the iPhone. Who does that? That was extremely biased and I don't care to watch videos like that. Since then I have deleted The Verge from my UA-cam and have blocked them on a lot of social media sites. They still show up from time to time but I'm disappointed in them. I hate giving them credit, but this video was awesome.
I loved the video, but honestly, the verge has turned so "pro apple" that I can't read their stuff anymore. I used to be able to just ignore it, but now even Android flagship devices are compared to so heavily and unfairly to a apple product that I just won't read them anymore.
I was thinking more like just putting a large 48" 16k screen on the phone. I mean, it would be a little large (about the size of small tv,) but think about the movies you could watch.
A Donut with Sprinklez Movies? Do you think this is 1948 or what? 46" screens would obviously be there to see glorious hamburger photos in Instagram while stalking an ex with Twitter.
LG G3 body w removable battery and microsd slot Htc one m8 speakers Note 4 camera w iPhone 6 processing with LG G3 laser focus Note 4 specs Stock Android Droid turbo battery (removable)

LOL Yeah Unless Apple can make the touch id sensor all over the screen meaning once its on, touch the screen and it unlocks.. Thats actually a great idea
What in gods name are u talking about ? The kid is still in school, so you assuming this is where he'll end up is premature, and btw the verge is a bigger company , not talking about their UA-cam subscription number , but they have magazines, offices and more connections, so this would be a stepping stone for marques.
Samuel kings I'm pretty sure they dont have a magazine.. either way they're terrible. Marques isn't some average Joe trying to get a job. If that were the case, sure, I guess it would be a step up. Marques is seriously talented and likable. I'm only pissed because a) I love the MKBHD channel and absolutely hate the Verge and b) he will lose his fan base if he becomes just part of the verge's crew.
HigginsIsHere I already own a Nexus 5 and when I looked into the moto x when it first came out I personally didn't think it was an upgrade, it's more like staying on par.
Chandima Gayan Unless this is purely hypothetical, the A10 is a horrible chip to put Android on. It only works so well because it's integrated perfectly with iOS, and only performs so up high because iOS is so much lighter than Android.
+Thisath Ranawaka You have no idea how hardware works. A10 "fusion" chip is Intel's Skylake i5 chip fast. It benchmarks almost the same score for single core performance. You iSheeps have just assumed that everything runs fast on any iPhone is because of "integration with the iOS". A10 is a desktop grade SoC. Sure every phone needs to have optimization with the OS. But Apple fans think that Apple's hardware completely shit and the "integration" is what makes it so fast. Optimization on Google Pixel & Pixel XL, almost all Moto devices is just as top notch at Apple's optimizations.
Mankeerat Singh You got it wrong when you called me 'iSheeps'. Far from it. Anyway, I know how powerful the A10 chip is. I think if Apple's demonstrated use of the ARM chip architecture expands, it will eventually replace Intel's x86 architecture, which is dated and so much less efficient now. My point being in the older comment, the reason Apple gets on so well with it's hardware is because iOS is so light (for such a powerful chip) and integration being a part of it- and most of the Android world doesn't have that (my comment was written before the Pixel launched). If you loaded Android on it, as in Android 7.0, I doubt it'll work so well (unless you rewrote the entire OS). Today, yes indeed the Pixel and Pixel XL work well with it's hardware just like Microsoft's Surface works well with it's hardware. I'm glad other OEMs have picked up on the fact that they can finally create integrated experiences if they make the software specifically for the device from the ground up. But the iPhone is far from desktop grade, it's still an ARM chip. It comes with it's faults. Eitherway, it is integration which makes the iPhone fast, A10 or otherwise. The software has to be built around the hardware if you want it to work so well. Pixel demonstrated this. The chip doesn't matter because the Pixel isn't topping the GeekBench charts but it does perform the best in real life. It all comes back around to the software. Your comment seems to have to it's terms mixed up. "But Apple fans think that Apple's hardware completely shit and the "integration" is what makes it so fast"; what? I don't see where you stand on this, you seem to despise Apple yet you seem to love them?
Thisath Ranawaka It is actually refreshing to see a comment who seems to know the difference between a x86 and an ARM architecture. Yes, it is foreseeable that ARM(most probably Apple) might replace Intel's Skylake & Kabylake CPUs(any x86). ARM processors really don't have faults that make x86 processors any better. ARM requires alot cleaner and streamlined coding when compared to x86 but thats it(I think). I don't hate Apple I admire their hardware(only SoCs, namely A9X and A10) I don't think that integration and optimization is THE reason why A10 is so damn good. I think its clever architecture. What I hate is that Apple fans still think that Apple's SoCs suck and "integration with iOS" magically makes A10 the fastest processor put in any phone.
Mankeerat Singh You're about right there. They don't have a lot of problems, but like you said little niggles make it harder to immediately move to ARM architecture. Plus, ARM isn't very capable at handling larger multicore tasks like x86- yet. But I admit, it's not just the software that makes the iPhone so good. Of course, this wonderful future of ARM based non-mobile devices will only blossom if Apple releases their secrets on the A10. Right now, the only non apple chip that even comes close is the Exynos, which still isn't that great on the single core.
Yeah....definitely NOT the LG G3 Quad HD display. Its an inefficient piece of washed out crap that drains battery. I'd rather go with a 5.2 inch 1080p True RGB (not pentile) AMOLED display with proper calibration and slightly higher than 400 nits max brightness (I also hope the screen reflectance is brought as low as possible). I would prefer an amoled display because I like Ambient display/Active display features. I prefer the Motorola Moto X 2014 body. No need to change anything there (except maybe, move back to the nexus 6 or moto x 2013 style dimple on the back) including the 5.2 inch display size. They're all perfect. 2800mAH battery is good enough for 1080p with proper driver optimizations. The Snapdragon 805 is adequate. An 808 would be preferable.Stock Android Lollipop of course. NO capacitive or mechanical buttons! Straight up on-screen buttons. The Note 4 front and back camera for sure (with slightly faster focus speeds). 3GB RAM. 64 GB storage is good enough for me.
Well, the battery is going to be very large so it shouldn't be much of an issue. But I totally agree with your points otherwise. Especially the button style choice.
rebekah172 If there's one thing that usually works, it's the mechanical buttons. I have heard many, many sad stories about phones and none of them includes broken mechanical buttons. Mechanical button is barely a switch, far less complex system than capacitive sensor, which is how capacitive/on-screen buttons work. So yeah, software can be always rewritten, but even on-screen buttons require "hardware" to work (capacitive sensors) and when you fuck up those.... You get the idea. It's more likey for a capacitive sensor to stop working (wether it's software or hardware) than a mechanical button.
No capacitive or mechanical buttons? Really? I guess you are making a phone just based on gestures or voice commands. Which wouldn't be the best way to increase or decrease volume.
what's the deal with bezels anyway? Why can't they just maximize body to screen ratio and make a lot of phones smaller and easier to use while keeping the big screens? We saw manufacturers already do that with the Sharp Aquos Crystal and the Sony Xperia ZL. So we know it's possible, why don't they do it?!
I'm sure The Verge forced MKBHD to use that iPhone camera reference in the video. The Verge is the biggest Apple sheep known to exist and I'm a proud non-subscriber of their UA-cam channel.
AndroidBump Why are they so dead-set on constantly comparing to ONLY the ipad? As if there are *no other* tablets out there to compare the Nexus 9 to. What a joke.
Front camera in the middle between two speakers and the home button in the middle of two speakers. Nice balanced look I would use if I made smartphones.
You might add the headphone jack
Sad
Very well produced video! Loved it!
Oh. Hiya MJ ^^
I think just as so. That phone would be my dream.

He did present a 60 seconds on The Verge a while back if my memory serves me correct, but that was the old verge with ***** in charge which was a lot better.
The Verge Nexus 6 review today?
iVerge trying to recover??
More like a nightmare
The Verge I heard Marques and Nilay went out and got matching Apple logo tattoos branded across their chiseled chests. Can you confirm please?

The Verge's topnotch video production along with MKBHD's topnotch review style. Exactly what I have been dreaming to watch. Way to go ***** looking forward to more collab videos like this.!
My dream smartphone...

Great job and really well produced!
you should use a 5.5'' phone for just two weeks and you will never want to go back to 5''. Trust me on this one

funny how verge is so apple oriented and MKBHD is slightly android oriented but very fair with reviews. this video was really fun to watch and i think iverge took a few pointers from Marques because their Nexus 6 review video was a shocker. They even called it the "best phone," right now. they didnt even mention the iphone 6 or compare it. This collaboration was much needed.
Screw the Verge. They did, however, mention the iPhone six when talking about the camera, which is pretty good.
Alay Shah not best though
That image processing, though. That definitely is.
Alay Shah look wise and 2k though. That definitely is.
?
A perfect phone that no company will ever dare to build so that we all would still have a solid reason to buy their next phone again in future...
Also because a phone like this would probably be over $1000

What do you use daily?
This is why I'm excited for Project Ara by google. It will give the consumers the option. It will give us the best phone for us.

Why the hell are people complaining about The Verge on this video? This is the best collaboration, Marques' personality and style with The Verge's incredible cinematography. People's issues with their Apple-bias should be restricted to the reviewers and writers, we don't need that shit here.
The intro was hacked by The Verge.

One thing you've gotta credit The Verge for - their video editing is top notch. They're the best I've seen from any tech channel. Their videos are always dynamic and engrossing. Gotta give Jack his jacket on this one. Well done guys!
Yup, that Apple money is well spent I'd imagine 😁

Yeah man they're good. I am both happy and annoyed many times while watching their videos lol.
Awesome video from *****! I think the Note 4 comes closest in the real world! Agree?
It's all about Stock Android IMO, so the Note lucks out in that respect. Too much unnecessary additions and tweaks where they're not needed.
Joe Blackwell too damn true my friend. Vanilla Android is the only flavor for me :)
Agree. I need the S-Pen and removable battery, and true multitasking capabilities.
Joe Blackwell I agree but disagree cuz without touchwiz, you won't get the multi tasking and s pen abilities
No I would say the Nexus 6. It has a 2k display, thin bezels, front facing speakers, vanilla android, good build quality, good camera
As a Nexus fan I do think TouchID that works flawlessly like the iPhones would be a must! Just where to put it :P
Use moto x 2nd gen body and use Motorola dimple as a fingerprint scanner
It would be cool if it could be integrated behind the screen somehow.
It could be good for one handed use
Oliver Rivett-Carnac Perhaps use the Huawei Mate 7's implementation.
Giorgi Noniashvili that is a brilliant idea! The dimple is the perfect spot!
I can clearly see the change in the video. Dynamic, different angles, better image quality, better editing, a very good video overall. Keep colaborating with thise guys. They're good!
How awkward was it to talk out in the streets and all have those people stare at you? haha
It's better to ask that to vloggers. He got a crew and stuff, people probably thought he was doing something for school or for a tv show.
***** No worse than what a vlogger experiences, probably less awkward actually
Just what I though
It makes it more fun honestly
I was thinking about that the hole video lol
Marques - Can you please explain to me why 4K video is so important to you? A) almost no one has a 4K screen B) storage on a phone is still so limited 4K would fill it SUPER fast! C) publishing to UA-cam at 4K is almost pointless without a decent dataplan.
Man, it's because HE likes it, and has the monitors and tv to display it. That's why this is HIS dream phone.
It's future proof too
It makes better quality 1080p when down sampled. That's why a lot of technology youtubers record in 4k.
How big is a 5 minute video at 4K compared to the same video at 1080P? It's not like phones have terabytes of storage yet.
MKVHD
this is what happens when two of the best reviewers colab! :D
I thought you would comment on this n I was right :-)
I've seen several of your videos so far and I have to say I love the collab. The animations were nice.
Excellent, and I agree with the choices here... It's also nice to see you outdoors. You should include that more often in your videos... Thumbs up!

Protherus sigh *facepalm.
MKBHD...
The Verge...
Nah, I don't see a connection.
They both do consumer electronics. How did you not see that?
Booth awesome...thats the connection
***** No, I meant their views. The Verge is obviously biased towards Apple. MKBHD is more centrist, but still biased towards Android.
Stellar omission of the fact that MKBHD and The Verge have had shared videos before - Marques did at least one 90 Seconds on The Verge.
Best. Collaboration. Ever.
Agree
Your dream smartphone is the same as mine, I would add fast charging, a fingerprint sensor in the back like the Nexus 6P, running Marshmallow, and 4 gigs of RAM.
+BloodRaptor So pretty much a nexus 6p
AciDicVenOm With the added RAM and a better chip and processor (and without that black visor thing)
and USB-C. people love to hate it, but there is no rational argument against it.
+Julio Hacker however, every new device will use it in about 1-2 years. And it will be on more than just phones (Peripherals, TVs, etc.). I have a Nexus 6P, and I can't say there's a lack of good chargers for it.
+luigi1fan1 I know right it just feels so good being able to put it in right the first time!
Marques, you have little to no imagination =).
My dream phone looks like this:
-Plastic (high-quality), waterproof, scratch-resistant, dustproof, possibly bulletproof non-slippery shell, with nice rounded corners
-supersensitive (gloves) 10-point capacitive touchscreen with anti-glare finish
-4.3" - 4.5" FHD IPS panel with up to 400 nits of brightness
-Something that protects your screen on falls, scratch-resistant
-Detachable back cover - dual removable batteries inside (to swap batteries if neccessary), sim card slot
-7mm-8mm thickness (explained later)
-Boomsound stereo speakers up front (since it's the best pair of speakers availible atm)
-3 Physical clicky buttons between the screen and bottom speaker, 4-6mm high
-Clicky and durable side buttons on the RIGHT side (power button and volume control, volume control ABOVE power)
-On top, 8mm thickness should be enough for FULL-SIZE USB 3.0 port (charging, power input/output), 3.5mm audiojack miniDP and a hole for small wacom PEN.
-NFC, bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS support, last-gen mobile networks
-Little to no useless bezel
-Strong flashlight on the back (dual LED?)
-Subtle front and rear facing cameras, maybe a flashlight on the front (The most important thing is not to get those lens huge and ugly, second most important is to get good resolution to the front camera and high frame-rates to the back).
Present stuff:
-64GB+ storage
-Snapdragon 805/nVidia Tegra K1
-2GB of RAM is enough
-"Pure Android"
Future stuff:
-mSATA (uSATA?) SSD storage, 250GB
-Intel Core M series CPU
-MS Windows / Linux OS (with proper UI modification)
-Full-size SD card reader
-Modular design
-Lots of RAM
-Additional ports
22nd century stuff:
-Dedicated GPU
=.=
***** Well that's expressive =)
I guess that's fantasy at its best xD... Well haha we are trying to do something realistic xD
Daniel Solorio I say it could be done. I'm only concerned USB port and the pen would take too much space for the battery, but since we've seen chinese produce sub-5mm thick phones I think it's time for something like this.
xD good imagination but it'll never be done unless you make it lol
why does everyone hate bezels? I think they are a necessary thing. They exist for a reason. They make it so that when you hold your phone and the tiny piece of your hand touches the screen, it wont interact with whatever you are doing!
I agree with you but the bezels on the HTC one M8 are ridicules huge.
***** , Well yes, I have to admit. Although, the solution is to make them thinner, not to remove them
I strongly agree with you bezels are very important. I just don't want bezels on a smartphone to be big.
The bezels on the note 4 are perfect for me.
Its probably because people believe that bezeless phones looks so sexy, and they prefer sexiness than anything else.
Or you need glasses
u won't notice it!!! i.e. unless you put your eyes right on the screen which is of no use..
Brendan Rigby The iPhone 6+ is 1080p.
Nowadays we have phones like the Huawei Mate 10 and Samsung S9 that go near to perfection.
How about producing this phone in a collaboration with Google?
The Google Nexus MKBHD Turbo.
If it was produced in collaboration with Google it would be impossible to get it at launch.
***** do another vid on project ara plizzz

***** snapdragon 810 with 4 gigs of ram! I think it would be awesome to have a version of the Intel i5 or i7 ! I know that is a different processing platform but if it could be repurposed etc ! I really like the way you did this video and you seem very cool and confident while out and about with yo people! Lol. Keep doing videos like man and maybe even have a panel of a few people from the street
***** warum machst du das nicht mal? ;-)
I'd have something similiar to Marques' phone except:
- no speaker that make the chin and top piece bigger then necessary (except one for the earpiece)
- no selfie camera (who needs these anyway)
- with samsung like buttons on the chin (I kinda like when the buttons don't "steal" any screen realestate)
i agree with the first one, but if the manufacturer can somehow make them thin like the lg g3 then i'd get it. no need for front speakers, how often does someone really use them and makes a difference in their experience with the phone? i got the lg g3 and when i listen to music i simply turn the phone over. there should be a "selfie" camera. it comes in handy a lot and can get cool videos with picture in picture front/back camera simultaneously. i used to agree with your 3rd point but not anymore. i was gonna get the galaxy s5 but chose lg because i realized you can hide the on screen buttons providing MORE screen than u would with physical buttons
For that reason I would never switch from an HTC unless someone else was smart enough to use front facing speakers.
i agree apart from getting rid of the selife camera
behemoth666123 i can't imagine not having speakers. you have to carry your earbuds everywhere. even if you do carry them, you gotta plug them in just to watch a single vine or something. annoying
Who’s here after his 2019 version
me
It would be water proof for up to 100 feet underwater and dust resitant :D screen would be gorilla glass 4 with a resolution of 3060 x2040 4K display lol and the screen would be 4.5 inches :P
Power: 64 bit processor and all the newest processors and blah blah blah.
The camera takes better pictures than my previous phone despite the confusing software.
largol33t1 Who cares about smart phone cameras?
***** Just get yourself one of those fancy cameras then :)
***** Eh idk
I like your ideas, but a 4K resolution on a 4.5 inch display is overkill. The pixel density is too high for that size. At 4.5 inches, a 1080p display will be more than enough, not to mention a huge battery saver. Project Ara looks to be interesting and may break what we come to know as smartphones now. My fingers are crossed.
My dream phone:
Body: Nokia N-Gage
OS: Android 2.3
RAM: 128Gb GDDR7
CPU: Intel Pentium MMX 133Mhz
GPU: R9 295x2
Battery: 2 AA Battery's
Screen: 16320 x 8020
You made my day XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I'd still go with 1080p display, with the same technology as the iPhone 6 Plus. It's sharp, bright, perfect viewing angles, and I can't even tell that the resolution is poor. It's enough.
Love the verge's video editing and your reviews. I'm excited to see more of the videos with you & verge
Body of the Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 screen, Z3 camera, Droid Turbo specs, Z3 waterproofing :D
Without the Sony skin over Android. And why the screen? The main complaints about Xperia phones is actually the screen quality.
hellseagle21 the z3 has awesome screen, they fixed it already
Will you review the Xperia Z3 or should I just stop hoping?
stop hoping.
xperia is IRRELEVANT nowadays sorry buddy
I'd advise staying clear of the verge. I watch your videos for the honest non biased reviews and opinions. The Verge is anything but that. Payed advertisements are rife on their channel
iVERGE
I must agree on that. I will not let MKBHD turn into iverge
you will be able to tell when he is iverge pretty easily. just by him not saying iphone for everything you can tell he isnt iverge.
we need an updated video of this one
My dream phone (WITHIN REASON, NO SCI-FI STUFF HERE OKAY)
- 5" 1200x1920 (5:8 aspect ratio) high-contrast IPS display, dual color calibration modes (sRGB, AdobeRGB1998), fully adjustable custom color profiles
- Physical device size roughly equal to that of the Nexus 5, and _no thinner than 10mm at the thinnest point_
- 3000+ mAh battery for at least 6 hours of SOT
- Unibody polycarbonate design (think Nokia N9/Lumia series) in all sorts of colors (PINK, LILAC AND MINT OPTIONS PLS, NOT JUST BLACK AND WHITE)
- 128GB eMMC internal
- MicroSDXC card slot up to 128GB (with firmware updates to add support for larger cards as they become available)
- LTE-A, LTE, DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSPA, 3G, 2G, true "world phone" frequency support
- 802.11ac wifi / Bluetooth 4.1 / Kleer Wireless Audio
- Snapdragon 805 SoC
- 3GB LPDDR3 RAM
- Wolfson WM8994 or measured equivalent DAC
- Audio analog output stage with enough current handling capability (~70mA peak or better) to drive low-impedance, high-sensitivity current-hungry headphones (i.e. the 9 ohm Shure SE846 and others like it), so they don't sound anemic and suffocated

Why does everyone love the head phone jack being on the bottom? I think it is awesome when it is on top of the device...
Corinn Heathers Ok, that actually makes some sense. Thanks for clearing things up!
Corinn Heathers Yeah, gotta love when you get a pair of headphones where only one channel works ;P
Thought I'd be laughing at every one of the specs but Google just came out with the Pixel 4 and it has 2800mAh
Great place, great video, great phone. Congratulation man ! I follow you from Italy!

>CREATES BEST VIDEOS IN HIS CAREER SO FAR
well he didnt do everything, the verge helped a lot
***** talking about his other recent videos too m8
What is everyone gushing over?! It was an okay vid it didn't make me cream my pants or anything he's always produced high quality videos.
Disliked this because "iVerge". Marques should not be associated with these people. Marques by himself can beat iVerge at any minute. iVerge need Marques to balance their reviews but iVerge is still iVerge. Marques should own them.
Really had to emphasize "iVerge" there didn't you..
Oh isn't it the company name? Oops, I think I'm correct. :P
Angel Angeles III Could have just referred to "iVerge" as "them" after about, oh I don't know, the second one..
Agreed, and I also disliked the video
Ultimate Trophy Hunter the video is great, hands down. But if you know how biased iVerge is you'll know that it's not the videography that matters. It's the content. Marques is the star in this and there's no problem but when the iVerge trio do the review it's a different story.
Great video. Someone should take u up on that phone idea. They can call it the MBQHD. 👍👍
It is funny how inside of the box they thought. They thought all of that was high tech, and nothing could ever be improved. They never thought of totally bezel less displays with under display cameras or fingerprint scanners, etc. Obviously we are still limited just as much now, but I found it incredibly amusing to look back on the high tech novel ideas of 2014
+HTC hope someone watches this the M9 can be this!!! Minus the soft touch, but hey to reach its own
*****
shoulda mentioned the fingerprint sensor in iPhone or a hybrid iOS & android software
(y) yes!
I have been really thinking of how an IOS and Android hybrid would look.
I would say android layout and IOS features.
That is good point.
Even though they have less features i think it would be really cool and plus the pull down notifications is the main reason i would want that
zachary meyer i would say iOS layout with android & iOS features
i think android l looks a lot better than IOS 8 because it looks the same as IOS 8
Dream Smartphone 2015:
Body: One Plus 2 (Sandstone black)
Display: Galaxy S6
OS: Android Lollipop (stock android)
Speakers: HTC One M9
Camera: Galaxy S6
Battery: 4000 mAh
USB type-C
Wireless charging
Snapdragon 810
Touch ID
4 GB of RAM
128 GB
And for good measure, the Motorola dimple.
+Tommy Wagner exynos 7420 octa-core 64-bit processor > snapdragon 810 :-D
Type c sucks and its slow as hell
+Oskari Lindblom I kind of rushed the list.
+Ghoultaku yeah I'd probably change the processer
thats my name
This video was really good. The presentation, the concept, the animations basically everything was different and interesting. The content was also something different.
And here it is... Nexus 6P 128gb with a skin for grip.
Its 5.7
We should totally make this, it would blow everything out of the competition!
What you said is just stupid, it doesn't even come close to what MKBHD said...
hardyharhar801 how is it not close it actually has extra things mkbhd didnt say like waterproof and PS4 remote play all it needs is more stock like software the only spec thats a little lower is the 801 2.5 ghz vs the 805 and the 805 is just an overclocked 801 with a bit better GPU
hardyharhar801 and the z3 barly came out on t-mobile on october 29
Rick Galindo Compare what MKBHD said and write it on the list, if you compare EVERYTHING on the z3 to EVERYTHING on his custom phone, it would be nothing alike. You even said a difference yourself, the z3 has a 5.2" screen while Marques wanted a 5.5" screen.
Body: Moto X body shirked down a bit + Boomsound
Display: sharp aquos crystal upgraded to 1080p & AMOLED
SOC: Tegra K1 Denver, 4GB RAM
Camera: 8-10 MP (Ultra Pixel) camera w/ OIS + Lumia 1020 software
OS: Moto "skin"
Battery: 3500 mAH+LiPo
Extra: USB type C, OTG support, micro HDMI out, 128GB
noones gonna put any ports on a phone lol
Tegra is horrible, like all nvidia mobile chips.
ekklesiast Agreed^
Why would you put the Tegra k1? The Denver cores are pretty bad for modern processors. The only point to a Tegra processor is the graphical performance, and honestly not many people actually play intensive games on their phones.
Sooooo excited for the "2015 Dream Phone" video
You wouldn't take Touch ID? I love it.
***** I know. That' what I meant. But with the quality of Touch ID. Definitely not Samsung's scanner.
Touch ID is better
***** I would take it, Touch ID would be awesome, and it should go a motorolla-type dimple
Nicholas Domenichini nice pic
Immanuel Mugenyi thanks
Kind of funny how much this dream phone now resembles the 2017 Google Pixel 2XL
Just bettet
are you saying pixel 5 would be 2019 dream phone!?
This was an awesome video and I would love to see a product like that on the market. I'm disappointed in The Verge (however) after the one reviewer said that you shouldn't even look at other phones just simply get the iPhone. Who does that? That was extremely biased and I don't care to watch videos like that. Since then I have deleted The Verge from my UA-cam and have blocked them on a lot of social media sites. They still show up from time to time but I'm disappointed in them. I hate giving them credit, but this video was awesome.
Yup! Exactly my thoughts.. Probably Verge saw the taste of defeat and outsourced themselves to MKBHD .. Lol
Really like the way you presenting your ideas on the future smartphone in what should they be. The phone manufacturers should consider these!
I loved the video, but honestly, the verge has turned so "pro apple" that I can't read their stuff anymore. I used to be able to just ignore it, but now even Android flagship devices are compared to so heavily and unfairly to a apple product that I just won't read them anymore.
Well maybe marques would change that once he becomes the CEO of the verge:)
Samuel kings In an ideal world.
5,5"? 3 GB of RAM? That's so last hour.
32" screens and 64 GB of RAM is the future.
It's basically like a Note 7 meets HTC One..
Minus explosions
KABOOM!
Yes please! More videos like this one. It's time to add more programs to this channel Marques.
LG G3 body w removable battery and microsd slot
Htc one m8 speakers
Note 4 camera w iPhone 6 processing with LG G3 laser focus
Note 4 specs
Stock Android
Droid turbo battery (removable)
Android software and apple hardware. Prefect for me
Picassos×Daughter But is it still hardware if it bends??? xD
Picassos×Daughter Android hardware (especially like samsung mobiles) would be awesome with a apple body and software.
***** +1
***** So dominating the single core benchmarks by far makes the hardware underpowered?
If androids where as optimised as iphones and the os was stripped down with fonts and icons like ios that would be sick
And also ios image processing
look back at this , vs the s8 & s8 + wow
that's exactly what i was thinking
Trevor Quinton No front speakers, no soft touch back, no stock android.
Like how this is top of my recommended in 2021
My Dream Smartphone:
WARNING ITS MY OPINION
4 Inch 1080p screen
iOS or Stock Android
I actually like iPhone's bezels
Back Camera is 20mp for the resolution
Front Camera is 8mp
A Mute Button like iPhones
Front Speakers like HTC One M8
A motion sensor
Headphone Jack at bottom
Power Button same a LG G3
iPhone Keyboard (Emojis😄)
6 Hour on screen time
64 Hour Standby Time
Price On Contract: $250
Price Off Contract: $400
THIS IS *MY* DREAM PHONE
I like your concept :D
I liek ur pic
Shady Green Tanks
I can't stand the volume buttons on the htc one m8 lol
IDK why but I feel like the screen should just be a part of the phone not the whole phone and I like the physical home button
LOL
Yeah
Unless Apple can make the touch id sensor all over the screen meaning once its on, touch the screen and it unlocks.. Thats actually a great idea
This career move is like if Harrison Ford post-star wars decided to start acting in high school plays instead of blockbuster films
my point is you can do so much in this world...it's sad to see this happen.
Dream phone: Nexus 6 mini (same size as the Nexus 5)
Uh.. Moto X?
HigginsIsHere nah
zalien6 But the Nexus 6 is just a bigger Moto X... Literally.
HigginsIsHere I already own a Nexus 5 and when I looked into the moto x when it first came out I personally didn't think it was an upgrade, it's more like staying on par.
Crazy how only 5 years ago this was a “dream phone” but now those specs are in every phone 🤯
Exactly haha😂
The best thing in this video is that Marques didn't took anything from iPhone :D
Did you even watch the video...?
Well, yes. What have i missed?
piwoszjr aparently you don't pay attention very well
wasserbrunner buhuuuu :'( ... He took the image processor xD
He took the image stabilization from the iphone
Mine would be 5.5 inch Amoled display
Apple A10 fusion
Pure Android
Note 7 camera
Nexus 6p build
Oh god, not with Verge
So interesting looking back at this in 2017, and seeing all these specs and design choices.
Especially the button style choice.
rebekah172 Oh come on you can't really mean that. Mechanical buttons are by far the best.
Ire Min Mon You can always fix software. A mechanical button can't be fixed if anything happens to it.
rebekah172 If there's one thing that usually works, it's the mechanical buttons.
Just came from 2019
Johno yeah
I'm from the future and apple sells a stand for $1000
I must say the make of the video was different than the usual MKBHD but it was awesome!!!!!!!
And finally your dream smartphone came true in Google pixel 2 XL 3 years later....
Without the big battery
what's the deal with bezels anyway? Why can't they just maximize body to screen ratio and make a lot of phones smaller and easier to use while keeping the big screens? We saw manufacturers already do that with the Sharp Aquos Crystal and the Sony Xperia ZL. So we know it's possible, why don't they do it?!
WaaDoku【和ァ独】 that's the s8
Do you really need a 4k camera in a phone?
yes, because reasons
Let's not play the Need Game.
***** Yeah, I guess :P
The Verge!! These guys are running a mini Hollywood.
MKB+Verge ! OMG what a video guys!! You people are amazing!!
Hey Marques, why not a 2019 version of "The Dream Smartphone"?
It's out lol
The time I mentioned it wasn't 😁
Want a dream phone video of 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure The Verge forced MKBHD to use that iPhone camera reference in the video. The Verge is the biggest Apple sheep known to exist and I'm a proud non-subscriber of their UA-cam channel.
and here's the proof: androidbump.com/tv/iverges-review-nexus-9-yeah-pretty-bad/
AndroidBump Why are they so dead-set on constantly comparing to ONLY the ipad? As if there are *no other* tablets out there to compare the Nexus 9 to. What a joke.
Yeah I unsubscribe to them about a year ago myself lol...😕
***** exactly, a *decent* camera, but not a dream phone material and therefore unnecessary reference.
Mason Parker We have _no_ idea. Few people say they are being paid by Apple.. But who knows.
Front camera in the middle between two speakers and the home button in the middle of two speakers. Nice balanced look I would use if I made smartphones.
