Thank you for this series. I enjoyed all 3 lectures. And yes indeed, the Word of God in any language is precious. I found myself thanking God throughout this talk.

Both Theology History and Scriptures are important in progression of our faith which gives us more knowledge and wisdom in our walk.

Tyndale translated Joshuah through II chronicles in prison. They are known as the dungeon works.

I've read it several times. I have it on my phone, in book form as well. I've given it out as gifts. If you want to see the Holy Spirit at work in men, women, and children in a way that inspires a person to sing praises to the Lord on their way to be burned at the stake with only a small amount of knowledge of Scripture, this book will show it. It has humbled me greatly to be called a brother in Christ when I read of their sufferings.
Here is just one example of the Holy Spirit inspiring His children: There were Dutch missionaries in Africa that would go and preach to slaves with great effect. The plantation owners eventually forbade the missionaries to make contact with the slaves because it caused them to stop their work and listen to the Gospel. Those Dutch missionaries made a deal with the plantation owners that they would become their slaves if the owners allowed them to preach to the fellow slaves. The missionaries became slaves to preach the Gospel to the lost. Only the Holy Spirit could cause such devotion and love in man.
