- In Rawalpindi, activists loyal to the religious Tehrik-e Labaik (TLP) party blocked the main road leading to the Pakistani capital, Islamabad. The TLP is demanding that the Pakistani government expel the French ambassador in response to the publication of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad in 2020.

What people don't realize that even if the French ambassador hasn't been expelled yet, the insult this would have caused to France in terms of its soft power clout is going to be very high. That one of the G7 economies and UNSC veto power is being chased out of a third world country and is only there owing to the business ties of its European allies isn't a place where any nation wants its diplomacy to be. And what would such a nation's ambassador achieve even if hangs on somehow in Pakistan when its perceived as not worthy for friendship. Imagine a poor man deliberating to sever ties with a rich influential man and publicly rubbing it in. And this rich guy having to scheme with partners to stay in the good books of this poor guy. That's not a bad place for the poor guy and not such a good place for the rich guy.

باب: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے محبت رکھنا بھی ایمان میں داخل ہے۔
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: “لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ وَالِدِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ”.
حدیث کا اردو ترجمہ:
ہمیں حدیث بیان کی یعقوب بن ابراہیم نے، ان کو ابن علیہ نے، وہ عبدالعزیز بن صہیب سے روایت کرتے ہیں، وہ انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے نقل کرتے ہیں اور ہم کو آدم بن ابی ایاس نے حدیث بیان کی، ان کو شعبہ نے، وہ قتادہ سے نقل کرتے ہیں، وہ انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تم میں سے کوئی شخص ایماندار نہ ہو گا جب تک اس کے والد اور اس کی اولاد اور تمام لوگوں سے زیادہ اس کے دل میں میری محبت نہ ہو جائے۔
تشریح : اس روایت میں دوسندیں ہیں۔ پہلی سند میں حضرت امام کے استاد یعقوب بن ابراہیم ہیں اور دوسری سند میں آدم بن ابی ایاس ہیں۔ تحویل کی صورت اس لیے اختیار نہیں کی کہ ہردو سندیں حضرت انس ص پر جاکر مل جاتی ہیں۔
آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے ان روایات میں جس محبت کا مطالبہ ہے وہ محبت طبعی مراد ہے کیونکہ حدیث میں والد اور ولد سے مقابلہ ہے اور ان سے انسان کو محبت طبعی ہی ہوتی ہے پس آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے محبت طبعی اس درجہ میں مطلوب ہے کہ وہاں تک کسی کی بھی محبت کی رسائی نہ ہو۔ حتیٰ کہ اپنے نفس تک کی بھی محبت نہ ہو۔
وَ مَنْ یَّقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآؤُهٗ جَهَنَّمُ خٰلِدًا فِیْهَا وَ غَضِبَ اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَ لَعَنَهٗ وَ اَعَدَّ لَهٗ عَذَابًا عَظِیْمًا(۹۳)
ترجمہ:
اور جو کوئی مسلمان کو جان بوجھ کر قتل کرے تو اس کا بدلہ جہنم ہے کہ مدتوں اس میں رہے اور اللہ نے اس پر غضب کیا اور اس پر لعنت کی اور اس کے لیےتیار رکھا بڑا عذاب
