    Not gonna lie Bob Clampett is one of my biggest influences not only in drawing but also in comedy.

    I wish that Tom & Jerry from 1961-62 were Directed by Bob Clampett, Instead of Gene Deitch.

      That sounds like a great idea, Tom and Jerry should've been directed by Bob Clampett. From 1961 through 1962. Instead of Gene Deitch, Despite of Clint Clobber (Tom's abusive owner). Even if Bob Clampett did directed Tom and Jerry in the early 60's, Clint wouldn't existed in them. Tom would be free from the abuses of that jerk😃

      @@frankponcherello9395 Yeah, Clint Clobber is such an animal abuser. He doesn't deserve to have any pets at all, Especially having Tom😡
      Even, That sounds like a cool idea. For Bob Clampett to direct Tom and Jerry from the early 1960's. Instead of Gene Deitch, Also Gene Deitch should've been more busy. In creating and directing Tom Terrific, Making more episodes of that cartoon. But from 1960 to '65, Even I did find out that. The Tom and Jerry cartoons of the 60's, Were done in the Czech Republic. Not in the U.S.

      And they made Jerry's personality akin to Yoyo Doo and Clampett's version of Bugs and Daffy, thus making him a screwball !

    Clampett was already a director by the time Porky’s Garden came out. Though, it might’ve been in production before.
    Also, if you want, I could help with these reels.
    Also, fun fact:
    Clampett animated on his on cartoons at some points, mainly the 30s cartoons. Clampett did the shoe scene in Porky’s Badtime Story (though an Iwerks animator takes over at the end.)

      Yes, it was most likely in production *way* before it was released. Tho it was released in mid-1937, I feel like it was finished sometime in late 1936-early 1937, but held back.

    I’d love to take orders from you(the music) was the basis for the cartoon of the same name. I also heard the speculated original cue for “don’t look now”

      @DerekS1937  2 роки тому +3

      Both are correct. The name of the supposed DON'T LOOK NOW cue is "Sweethearts Forever."

      I also think this reel is absolutely amazing! In fact your videos convinced me that “I wanna be a sailor” and The lyin’ mouse” had the 1937-38
