It takes an incredibly creative mind to create a synth so we HAD to hear what those same minds come up with playing those very same instruments! Make sure you like, comment, and subscribe for more videos like this one!
Even if you're just "sort of, a keyboard person"...Moog, is about the most fun, you can have...with your britches, still on. You guys, killed it! Thank you Dan, Jim, and Zack. Bravo!
@@adognamedshinji the velocity control for set 7 was wonky where it wouldn't register the position of the pot and was somehow being affected by the position of the step 6 velocity position. Very weird. Ive got a feeling it took a hit during transit when I ordered it but since it was thru prymaxe, I didn't feel like trying to deal with them refunding/replacing
Zack is awesome! He sold me one of the last multicolored Matriarchs when I visited Asheville back in April. While there wasn’t one immediately available in the store, he asked around to make sure that I had one to leave town with. Thanks so much Zack, I love it! 😀
If you visit Asheville, make sure you visit the Moog Shop and take the factory tour. (And the Moog Foundation as well.). Daniel, it seems like the Matriarch is kind of your go to these days.
Thanks, Dale. For those who can't get to Asheville, NC soon, here's an in-depth tour: ua-cam.com/video/NIDinx83Vs8/v-deo.html As for the Moog Matriarch, yeah... when a video requires a fully analog audio path, control voltages, sequencing and arpeggiation, monophony and paraphony, stereo analog delays, and is easy to see from a downward camera... that's when the Matriarch is my absolute go-to synth. Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_
Hi chad. Yes, there's a non-replication setting in the Global section that automatically detects any reoccurring patterns and transposes them chromatically. An extra beat is also applied so that the meter no longer repeats as well. It's really fun to dance to. -_Daniel_
Hi Bartos. My friend Lisa was not in Asheville that week. But we have a second Moog Sound Lab Jam coming out next week with Faye on two DFAMs and a Subharmonicon. Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_

Woow I love that, makes me go out and get one, and make art of music, thank u, keep doing things like that, 😎

I hung out with those dude a few weeks ago when I went to drop off my dfam for a repair, super nice dudes. We had a great conversation about gear
What was the issue with the dfam?

Love this! What a great video!
This is a great jam for kicking back but don't start listening to this during a work break, almost killed myself by falling out of an office chair!!
My favorite store sweetwater 👌
Very cool, Dan and Moog gurus!
Three guys addicted to synths jamming ... a great serenade for Bob Moog
Very cool

Thats so freakn cool
If this song were done in the 70s it'd be one of the biggest things around. So Pink Floyd-ish

Nice jam!
Aliens up there:
-"got it ...2 large pizzas.. no pepperoni."
Hi Magik Head. Turns out it's really hard to say, "No pineapple, please!" using only synthesizers. -_Daniel_
man i'd never leave the room....lol keep the weird shit alive!
so the robot repeaty stuff.....can you make it "never repeat?"

Can't tell if I need more synths or to learn how to use mine better😭
Truth.
Answer is both
Safe first bet:
“What key?”
“Everybody knows how to play the black keys!”
"Where we're going, Marty, we don't need keys!"
The title of the mix shall be:
"We're stuck in the short circuit"...
With Johnny Five!
@@obsoletecd-rom,
Anything additional works fine for the title.
😄
@@XPJV true, but I was alluding to the movie Short Circuit, and Johnny Five was its main protagonist.

Nice Jam! Now I know how to communicate with the aliens. Peace ✌
Hi RMB. The aliens told me to tell you,
"
˜Â˜Ó-=¥˙©øøø'" It seemed very important to them that you get the message. Hope it helps. -_Daniel_
@@sweetwater Thanks for relaying their message to me. Now I'm trying to send my reply to them using Moog.
Reminds me of the birth of Prog
Still saving for my 16v One to go with my Matriarch. 😉
ET phone home. A lot of money per call.
Hi 519mark. No money at all. We called collect;-)

Sweetwater thinking about pulling the trigger on the Moog sub 37 got the sub Phatty but need more poly and loads of patch saving.
A Moog demo without Lisa Bella Donna....and only with white males? ...what a shame..

What a silly comment but not surprising in this day and age. It's also incorrect though. I see a black female...her name is Matriarch.
Your racism has no place here. Just sit back and enjoy the beautiful sounds.
