Once You have a strong economy, make a decently sized navy with about 5 frigates, 3 destroyers and 3 subs 3. Slowly develop your economy and increase the size of your navy 4. Once You have practically the strongest navy in-game, try making an army You can now defend against A N Y O N E (fr I beat all of Europe alone with it, 20K losses to 18M losses)

Yeah they were prob utter noobs since China if used correctly can easily overpowered a smaller nation all they’d have to do is use 3-4 fighters 2-3 attackers 200-400 arty and then once cap is weakened attack with troops
I always use attackers and bombers when people are defending from me. I also uso fighters. Also some more defensive tips are that you place at least 3 anti aircraft at your capital
As soon as the game started I got rushed by South Africa with 200k troops (I was Norway, yes, really, they could’ve gotten titanium from Madagascar) I had arty and they chased my artillery through the mountains, then they tried to get my capital but I had 30k entrenched troops in my capital, they send an extra 400k troops but I had made a submarine by that point.
I had a South Africa player invade me through Siberia for titanium. Absolute madman. He landed from Murmansk to the Bering strait. I nearly had a heart attack seeing it
One time I was doing a little bit of trolling and decided to play Malta and declared war on South africa... the absolute madman made the trek THROUGH Africa (thus was like 2020 so really early) he split his forces made it past my 1 or 2 subs and annexed me, klingbing1203 if you're out here, I commemorate you.

Then, fortify the capital and put artillery near the most populated cities. If I'm playing as a big nation, I research all of the infantry tree, fortify capital and put artillery near it, then concentrate all troops into one unit. I then send the troops to the specific area that is getting attacked. Both of these worked when I last played Philippines (1st method) and Indonesia (2nd method)
For the second method I recommend entrenching them and surrounding them where they’re attack with those units so they have no other choice to rush them unless they have attackers and fighters (you don’t have to use this tip if you know you can beat their units without entrenching
The best way to counter countries like turkey when you are a Balkan country is to throw all you early research into Infantry Economy and Tanks the infantry upgrades help take over the AI and still have defense, the economy is just to get the income needed to buy the materials for tanks, and the tanks, well the tanks are meant to kill. This is how to defeat Turkey or Italy if you are lucky and they don't understand the power of research. Oh Wait don't forget Military leader and Military group this will make your army that much better.

my main strategy is kinda like this one but i use it when i attack and defend, i let the enemy take most of me while i use artillery so i can gain more manpower and then i attack back when the enemy uses most of its manpower
You can also set high gov spending in cease you defend using capital fortifications. Example: having Kiev and Brovary(the city next to KIev which is needed to fortify) makes your high gov spending cost only ~170k

Another tip,Pick in your policys the neutrality act,It will give you massive income and 200% resistance,meaning that the enemy will bleed more when they are going through your lands

I personally just stack my capital and maybe some major cities with infantry, some artillery. And maybe anti air if they have bombers And then wait. The attrition will do the rest
Another tip would probably just be to attack first and try your best to bring the war to their lands even if they're building more than you. Just start scorching their land. You can't win a numbers game with lower numbers so just scorch the hell out of em to buy yourself time and find openings to harass em. Also try to scorch sparingly and strategically. Don't just mass scorch. Leave a couple cities out to either choke them or as a path for you to make it to them. The best cities to hold are not big cities but rather cities far from other cities to make em attrition.
Pro tip (this works for support things) So if your using artillery don't put it in with the troops a bit behind like they did so they don't get destroyed and when making a carrier fleet you make 2 one with destroyers submarines and battleships its small the rest which is destroyers submarines battle ships and frigates protect this fleet but if anything happens the smaller fleet can help protect the airceaft carrier cause submarines can easily take out an aircraft carrier also carrier fleets are better when they are next you your land cause artillery can aid and a carrier fleet always has aircrafts if you dont have any your kinda screwed so unless you unmatch them in every possible way but support is never meant to be directly in battle its meant to be behind a bit to launch attacks well not being easily captured :D if that didn't make sense idk and if you have nukes go for population then capital and bomb most populated cities long wars drain economies so outlive theirs :D

just get consumer goods. if war exaustion is a huge problem i recommend always going communist (usually you get high war exhaustion when you mass invade and get alot of losses or lose your capital)

One time, was playing as Japan and china declared, and it was one of the china players that doesn't know how to use a navy. Once he got around 5 million losses, and he force peaced me, he said, "ez". He collapsed of war exhaustion 2 seconds later...
I like to mess with the server as China, I actually use sonar, and because I forget which ship kills which ship, I just get a sub, a battleship, and a destroyer, and kill Taiwans subs and invade him, he assumes I was a noob and raged when he found otherwise

I played as Mexico and almost formed the Mexican Empire but a USA player had to join so i scorched all of my northern cities while leaving the remainder of my troops in Mexico City. Their troops died due to attrition or scorching. USA had 5mil casualties while i had 200k. Texas and CSA revolted from them so they wped me
One time I was playing as Iran and Pakistan invaded me. I fortified 90% of my cities and their stability went down very fast to the point where I took their land and they did not even take one city. I destroyed them so hard to the point that they mass scorched. So remember, instead of spending money on troops, spend it on fortifications.

One day I was Japan and I was chilling, then Qing declared war on me and lost 1.8M troops thanks to my submarines, I only lost 200k troops, my factories were on the other side of his invasion, so I wasn’t affected, then Qing offered me a white peace, we accepted and guess what? He allied me lmao
I used everything i had to my advantage once, Made CHING Dynasty underestimate me trough caht and made him believe i had 2 frigates (in reality i had 2 stacks of 10 trained frigates with a +51% attack officer) and 2 subs, HE SENT IN HIS ENTIRE NAVY WITH 10K TANKS TO KILL ME i killed all of his ships, he had 2 destroyers and 1 battleship his destroyers were killed by my 20 frigates and i destroyed his battleship with my subs, He then landed those tanks so i made artillery's then scorched the land around the tanks, he deleted them and said wait for wave 2. Wave 2 never came but instead Mexico tried his luck but he also failed so then he tried killing my ships, he sent submarines for my frigates and my frigates killed them easily, then he killed all of my frigates using a stack of 80 frigates. Then the CHING Dynasty player told me he had 1M exp and i had held off a 1M exp player, ad a minor power, ad a 150K exp player I was Ashanti empire

Ukraine is good for Starter, it has tungsten and titan and Iron, but its mostly Always get invaded by Russia
But If you want conquer almost Europe then use Germany its good for starters too only If you get Tanks and good inferantys :)
Another tip would probably just be to attack first and try your best to bring the war to their lands even if they're building more than you. Just start scorching their land. You can't win a numbers game with lower numbers so just scorch the hell out of em to buy yourself time and find openings to harass em. Also try to scorch sparingly and strategically. Don't just mass scorch. Leave a couple cities out to either choke them or as a path for you to make it to them. The best cities to hold are not big cities but rather cities far from other cities to make em attrition.
Pro tip (this works for support things) So if your using artillery don't put it in with the troops a bit behind like they did so they don't get destroyed and when making a carrier fleet you make 2 one with destroyers submarines and battleships its small the rest which is destroyers submarines battle ships and frigates protect this fleet but if anything happens the smaller fleet can help protect the airceaft carrier cause submarines can easily take out an aircraft carrier also carrier fleets are better when they are next you your land cause artillery can aid and a carrier fleet always has aircrafts if you dont have any your kinda screwed so unless you unmatch them in every possible way but support is never meant to be directly in battle its meant to be behind a bit to launch attacks well not being easily captured :D if that didn't make sense idk and if you have nukes go for population then capital and bomb most populated cities long wars drain economies so outlive theirs :D

A comment below this one says that Ukraine is easy to defend because most Russia players just spam tank, I agree and think Poland is another good example. German players mostly immediately get tanks and spam, so as long as you have fortifications, artillery, and anti-tank researched, you are pretty much good

Can you do a video for how to expand your country rapidly without getting low stability and high war exhaustion, this happens when I play as Italy, my country would be in ruins after I take France the uk and Spain
just get consumer goods. if war exaustion is a huge problem i recommend always going communist (usually you get high war exhaustion when you mass invade and get alot of losses or lose your capital)

Tbh China one is also even more rng if they atleast know how to spam correctly lmao, make a large line (sideways to the thing you want to take) then attack lmao, because then their troops are more spread out and harder to kill more of with attackers, and then you'd end up needed either more attackers or the China player doesn't make that many troops.

One time, was playing as Japan and china declared, and it was one of the china players that doesn't know how to use a navy. Once he got around 5 million losses, and he force peaced me, he said, "ez". He collapsed of war exhaustion 2 seconds later...

I played as Mexico and almost formed the Mexican Empire but a USA player had to join so i scorched all of my northern cities while leaving the remainder of my troops in Mexico City. Their troops died due to attrition or scorching. USA had 5mil casualties while i had 200k. Texas and CSA revolted from them so they wped me

I've seen georgia beat russia without allies.
One time I was playing as Iran and Pakistan invaded me. I fortified 90% of my cities and their stability went down very fast to the point where I took their land and they did not even take one city. I destroyed them so hard to the point that they mass scorched. So remember, instead of spending money on troops, spend it on fortifications.

I used everything i had to my advantage once, Made CHING Dynasty underestimate me trough caht and made him believe i had 2 frigates (in reality i had 2 stacks of 10 trained frigates with a +51% attack officer) and 2 subs, HE SENT IN HIS ENTIRE NAVY WITH 10K TANKS TO KILL ME i killed all of his ships, he had 2 destroyers and 1 battleship his destroyers were killed by my 20 frigates and i destroyed his battleship with my subs, He then landed those tanks so i made artillery's then scorched the land around the tanks, he deleted them and said wait for wave 2. Wave 2 never came but instead Mexico tried his luck but he also failed so then he tried killing my ships, he sent submarines for my frigates and my frigates killed them easily, then he killed all of my frigates using a stack of 80 frigates. Then the CHING Dynasty player told me he had 1M exp and i had held off a 1M exp player, ad a minor power, ad a 150K exp player I was Ashanti empire
I held off a toxic China for 10 years and made his economy go from 51 mil to 11 mil as Italy.
I didn't realize how bad I was at defense (I was always pretty decent with offense, yes i mean non ai countries) until I lost to Austrian Empire. As Russia.

xp doesnt mean much in this game since its super easy to get it fast
