- In todays video we fished the Walleye Spawn Run here in Wisconsin. The walleye are running upstream to spawn and it’s a good time to try and catch a couple. I personally had great luck and caught my new PB which came in at 28”!

Oh 100% happening this summer! I sprained my ankle so I haven’t put out a video in a few
Hey colton, awesome video is this a river off green bay? Know a couple guys that been in that area recently for the same fishing!
Hello Brent! This is in Marinette / Menominee on the border lines there. Fishin near the Haiti bridge I believe it’s called.
Super cool to know that people around me watch my videos thank you!!!!!!
Good snagging lol
Not really I caught 2 by the mouth and I can’t help if I snag em
@coltonweber hooking fish in the head is still snagging. Most peeps that fish in that river during the spawn will justify hooking fish in the head as a bite lol. Hey I'm not hating..I just saying it as it is. Hooking fish on the top of the head, the side of the head , or even under the head is snagging. Everyone fisherman know that during spawn the females aren't biting. But whatever do what you gota do pal
Some people will go out with blade bates or jigs with massive and try to snag em I was just using a rapala I believe it was an xrap. The fish I was catching 3/4 were males the last one was a female.
First one was forsure 15 last one looked like a 23 lol how did u measure it?
I didn’t I figured I’d catch another one to keep.. didn’t happen and I didn’t want to keep the 28” that’s too big.
@@coltonweber Those big girls are especially fun to catch in that skinny water, and an often overlooked type of location as well. Quite often they'll be sitting next to shoreline rocks in a foot of water taking small worms or a piece of crawler. Next time you go cast towards the shore occasionally.
@@TCK-9 Thank you for that advice I’ll try that out next time. People do overlook the shallow and only fish the deep with jigs.. the water I was in was maybe 2’ deep
