- I was out gathering for my fall upcoming refresh met a beautiful subscriber mine we had a nice chat and then turn the corner and found this amazing rug overall great Saturday.

Hello Brooke, what stunning plates. Those vibrant colours against the black backdrop just enhance the beauty of the two birds perched in the centre. I've always considered black and gold to be the quintessential symbols of opulence and these two beauties are sublime examples. A rare find indeed. I have long hair like you. I have been using the same brush for fifty years as well. It's a Jean Pierre and in my opinion the BEST brush ever!

We had those black and white dishes as a kid in the late 60's, we got them from the gas station when you filled in a punch card with so many fill ups. My mom managed to get the whole set. I still have a platter.❤

We deserve to be good to ourselves as well as toward others. I appreciate how you strive to create a lovely life for yourself and that you don't hesitate to use what you have and not "save" it for a special occaision. I feel the same way. I have it, I use it.

Love love the rug!! I’m so jelly, lol! Ms. Brooke you have beautiful hair but I cringed when you brushed it wet. Use a comb because brushing it wet will break fragile wet hair.
I have an isinis brush my hair wouldn’t have grown this long if it was breaking, so the brush is amazing. I’ve used it my whole life. I used to have hair past my ass. I just don’t wear it down anymore.
Haha my sister and I talk 2-3 hours at a time. My husband just shakes his head. Your food looks fabulous!

Yeah,great score. I agree with you and yes to the transfer plates but I got two different ones now, it will work just fine. It’s just for my refresh Ralph room that I’m doing for fall. I wasn’t doing two rooms. I was only going to do Christmas now I’m so indulged in the fall one lol I got a quit shopping,🤷🏼♀️ 🤦🏼♀️

Love plates and rug. U might be able to get a low cost new fringe on rug done by carpet people who make runners out of plain carpet with the edges bound - they could use the same sewing machine to put on new fringe or you could just sew it on by hand with big stitches right over the tattered fringe. Or, just cut off the old fringe with a razor blade.

Absolutely love the plates. Very different from any I’ve seen. Your pie with the fancy top is so sweet. I need to do that for my family. Just found out my daughter in law is pregnant with my 5th grandchild. I have them ages 11, 15, 17 and 18. We’re all excited for a new baby💗 I’ll be 76 in November so I’ll be able to babysit before I’m too pooped to help.😃

Lots of my friends didn’t have children and they are the sweetest ladies around. They love children and 2 were grade school teachers. I was adopted when I was 6 weeks old and had the best childhood anyone could ask for. My dad passed when I was 14 which was the worst thing I’d ever gone through. My mom had what would now been diagnosed as bipolar. I was an only child so dealing with an illness no one could help with was a trying time for me but mom lived til she was 85. I wasn’t getting pregnant while married to my husband and we adopted our son when he was 3 weeks old and I was 41. So I was oldest mom in his class but he thought it was cool cuz his mom knew a few more things than other parents in their 20s.💕😃 I think family are the people we have in our hearts. Grandchildren by blood or love of God is a wonderful gift. So many of my grandkids friends are at our ranch swimming, playing volleyball or basketball or football and they all call me grandma. lol. They’re all good kids and show my son, daughter in law and I love and respect. I’m enjoying all these kids so much since I have no nieces or nephews. Didn’t mean to rattle on but you have children in your life who give you the same love.💗💗

Look up Noritake Ireland hunt scene plates for Ralph room, might find a bargain online, popular in the eighties, I used them at Christmas. Great deal on the rug.

I always forget how beautifully long your hair is!!, mine is so thin, I have to wear it to below the shoulders now. You have such nice stuff in your thrift stores, we have crap in ours, never anything good. OHHH! I ALWAYS DO THAT! lol i get buyer's remorse before i even get out the door LOL😆Those Asian plates! beautiful, I like anything Asian, that crane pic, so lovely, that red rug, a steal at 7.99, that is crazy!!! I can go 6 months without finding anything good around here, 2 of the best thrift spots to shop closed their doors so we have slim pickins here now unfortunately. Your food always looks amazing!! It’s nothing to do with the people is to do with UA-cam. I got 240 subscribers yesterday and they took off 55+ that. They are playing games. It’s not the people then they blocked everyone and said I had restrictions up for commenting not just on mine on a lot of UA-camrs so people couldn’t comment or put a like button or anything, but there’s nobody to talk to.
