You should try the self heating bento box. Pull the string, that starts the chemical heating pad, and in 10 minutes, you have a warm food. It was really good
It was at Tokyo Station, I was about to catch the Shinkansen to Niigata, and stopped in one of the larger, walk-in Ekiben shops. I saw iit and knew I had to try it. It was good
I love her bond with her mother. Its a silly loving and caring relationship.A lot of adults don’t see their parents that often. Im glad you stay connected with her!😊💕
Awwww that is so sweet! I heart Bob Ross 👨🏻🎨💕 These are some of my favorite quotes from him: “There are no mistakes, only happy accidents.” “There’s nothing wrong with having a tree as a friend.” “Now then, let's come right down in here and put some nice big strong arms on these trees. Tree needs an arm, too. It'll hold up the weight of the forest. Little bird has to have a place to set there. There he goes...” 🌲💪🕊😄
Presentation is very important to the Japanese. When you go to buy omiyage at shops they show how everything inside is presented. Even at fast food restaurants, for the most part they match the pictures
Normally I can't stand watching people eat because of the sounds, but your videos are always a blast. You're so good at describing what you're eating. I always learn somthing new watching your videos! Can't wait for the next!
I love the way she plays around with words, also combining how she categorizes the food in shape, color & texture. She also points out things that many people wouldn't admire, or even notice. It makes me more aware of things and to appreciate the small things around me. In the end, I always fall in love with her videos. She's different from others who vlog food, and I'm grateful to watch her videos.
Yeah, I saw a recycling factory in Nagoya once. it was amazing how the whole procedure is so smooth and the workers work really hard during the recycling progress. Mad respect😤
Hello 안녕 Miss Mina and Mommy Oh! The bento Japanese lunch boxes look too pretty and beautiful for eatting! I hope it tastes good as it looks! It reminded me of my childhood too!👍🍱🍣🍛
OMG IM FREAKING OUTT!! I clicked on this video so quickly, I’ve been watching your videos forever and I also just recently took the shinkansen from osaka to tokyo and i cant believe we were on the same train!
Just found both your channels and binge watching! I absolutely adore your outlook and so appreciate your wacky sense of humor! Thank you for being you and thank your outstanding Mommy Oh for raising you to be your true self.😍👏🏼🙏🏼
Mina:loves the bento Me:its at night and im WATCHING a tasty bento train video *inhales* *exhales* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I love how Miss Mina explains... Details are really good. Where to eat, where to stay, what can you see, what you have to expect. Keep it up Miss Mina ☺
Hey ms mina.. did u study on media or communications.. how did u learn to edit or take vid like that.. u are the first vlogger that i watched and admired.. ur vid are very informative and u are very genuine and not rude to other cultures.
Mina, you should really go to Mexico the street food is great depending on the area. Like Guadalajara. That is where my family lives but I am in america. It is very colorful and the culture there is amazing.
Ekiben! Eki meaning station, and ben taken from bento. You'll find multiple ekiben shops in stations that service long train rides. Kyoto is known for their matcha so you'll see a lot of places that sell matcha flavored stuff. They also have very good plum wine
Omg i looked up famous people with the same birthday as me which is december 13 and it said mina oh's birthday was the same as mine and i thought woah that's cool i have the same birthday with one of my favorite UA-camrs!💙💙💙💙 CAN EVERYONE LIKE THIS SO THAT SHE WILL SEE IT PLEASE AND THANKYOU... IT WOULD MAKE MY DAY💙💙 AND EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT DAY!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!
I love how they get a variety of things in small portions for their lunches on the trains.. As Americans we usually get maybe 2 items.. 3 at the most and bigger qualities if these things. I seriously think we could learn alot from other countries and portions.. They do use alot of vegetables and fruits in their recipes and diets.. It's not a question of if your going to eat your veggie.. It's which veggie
Mina: professional food critic. Where do these food and detailed descriptions come from? It made my brain think and made me see things in a different perspective!
I just found your videos and I've spent all week watching your adventures. I have been to Japan once and now I'm thinking I need to go back and do it right. As well as Korea!
Every time I watch her video I want to go to that place that she Went to she's kind of explained what the food is and how it's like there it makes me so excited to one day I will be able to travel
Your relationship with your mother is adorable. I have the same rapport with mine, but Mom is sick and bedridden now, which makes me sad. Your video made me smile, and some day I hope I can travel the world with my Mom, and share bento boxes together :)
Sometimes you don't know what you're eating, but still VERY EXCITED!
Ikr, I love food
HAI HAI HAI
Miss Mina exactly!
Always Mina always.
miss mina i love you and your personality because you are sooooo funny😉
Anybody else loving her soft tone when Mina speaks? It seems so soothing
*NZ Maori* ikr
*NZ Maori* I listen to her voice at night to fall asleep like right now lol
I hate it 😅
Banch hahah aww well, it's not for everyone
Me.. she has relaxing voice
The Japanese really make food an art. The bento boxes are gorgeous.
Everywhere do my mom makes it with American food
I would have hand washed the box and reused it if possible
The rice is just ....AMAZING!
You should try the self heating bento box. Pull the string, that starts the chemical heating pad, and in 10 minutes, you have a warm food. It was really good
WHERE DOES ONE FIND THIS MAGIC? MUST TRY!!!!! :D
It was at Tokyo Station, I was about to catch the Shinkansen to Niigata, and stopped in one of the larger, walk-in Ekiben shops. I saw iit and knew I had to try it. It was good
It took a while but I found it. You can get the self heat bento at Matsuri Station Bento (just inside the ticket gates in Tokyo Station)
So true!! I was "Ooo..aahh.." when I opened mine.. I miss Japan!!
Those were the best!!
The crispy root is called gobo in Japanese and burdock root in English!
I have to second that. They made it kinda thick in the bento box though. I'm used to it being in thinner strips like matchsticks :) lol
Love gobo!
Yes I think so as well
Beat me to it, but yeah I’m two weeks late watching the video...
Seth Heller yea?well I’m a year late
I love her bond with her mother. Its a silly loving and caring relationship.A lot of adults don’t see their parents that often. Im glad you stay connected with her!😊💕
You are a like a bob Ross of food traveling. Always in the mood to watch your videos. Insightful, humorous, and fun❤️
Awwww that is so sweet! I heart Bob Ross 👨🏻🎨💕 These are some of my favorite quotes from him:

@@MissMinaOh I'm guessing that English is not your first language because you don't answer my comments
Any one think Miss Mina is stunning??
Definitely! :)
Yass she has such nice cheekbones and jawline
Miss square face
Souper Army rude
You're tryin too hard
I love the appearance of a Bento Box it is just so neat looking
That makes sense to have a bento box store at the train station.
Wow. That train ticket price though....O_O
Wow. The bento box looks so well packaged!
Presentation is very important to the Japanese. When you go to buy omiyage at shops they show how everything inside is presented. Even at fast food restaurants, for the most part they match the pictures
さゆり 250 U.S. dollars. She said it in the video.
@さゆり
0:39 If you check here, she says total cost was ¥27,480 (US Dollar, $248.23).
Train tickets are a similar price here in the UK it’s ridiculous
The British/korean Guy it’s still cheaper than the US
Normally I can't stand watching people eat because of the sounds, but your videos are always a blast. You're so good at describing what you're eating. I always learn somthing new watching your videos! Can't wait for the next!
Can you do like a video about how you manage your period when you go to different countries
Chill Boo what do you mean by period (there is multiple meanings)
Autumn Kami probably the women period
@@AuroraPolkka the one of the blood
@@AuroraPolkka you aren’t a girl?
@@fumiko_is_typing... not everyone is a girl.💆🏾♀️
You should have went to the ramen shop. I've watched a documentary about foods and it says that it is one of the best ramen shops!
Which ramen shop are you referring to?
@@MissMinaOh I think the one you skipped because you had bento
My fave bento box resturant closed.
1 like 1 prayer for all the hungry souls out there including me
UA-cam has many tutorials on how to make it, so it's doable
relatabel but a ramen shop i loved it so much
Hehehehehehehe
I literally would go to Tokyo , Go to that Train Station , just to buy some bentos and eat at that little restaurant.😂💗
Awwww, you call your mother the same as I called my dear sweet Japanese mother except I spelled it as 'Mommy Yo'. Kind of brought a tear to my eye. 😢
it’s 2022 and i’m still watching this
The mystery food is “gobo” root (burdock root). A lot of fiber. Very common Japanese food :)
Yellow Owl Ahhh thank you.
Yup agreed it's burdock root. Very common in Japan.
Her and her mother/grandmother bond with each over so much and it’s good❤
Do the bento boxes get recycled regularly? Trashing them seems like such a waste
I believe Japan has a really good recycling program and they recycle the majority if not all of their disposable products.
Yeah, I saw a recycling factory in Nagoya once. it was amazing how the whole procedure is so smooth and the workers work really hard during the recycling progress. Mad respect😤
I just discovered this channel. I love her ability to make even the most everyday food appealing
"Here we have the option to get shady" 🤣 3:20
Lmao! My brain totally took this line out of context
traditional japanese food, baths, clothing, etc never cease to amaze me. its all so aesthetic, clean and healthy!!
Hello 안녕 Miss Mina and Mommy Oh! The bento Japanese lunch boxes look too pretty and beautiful for eatting! I hope it tastes good as it looks! It reminded me of my childhood too!👍🍱🍣🍛
I listen to these videos when going to sleep her voice is so soothing I love it
I love how you expect a different flavour when you eat something you don't know, and how it tastes amazing anyways
I love how she hearts every comment, it’s so great when your favorite UA-camr does that
OMG IM FREAKING OUTT!! I clicked on this video so quickly, I’ve been watching your videos forever and I also just recently took the shinkansen from osaka to tokyo and i cant believe we were on the same train!
Love hearing her soft descriptions with serious tone but also makes you laugh 😄
That greyish root thing is gobo aka woowong/burdock root.
I don't know what I liked most, the food, your mom or your soothing voice. That's it, I'm binge-watching all your videos
I wish I could vegetables like she does. It makes me so jealous how she eats everything so well!
