Great content!! You’ve inspired me to use my embossing powder more. It’s difficult to choose a favorite because they’re all gorgeous! Thank you for sharing!
I enjoyed all the techniques. The last one was probably my favorite. Looking forward to seeing more. And thank you leaving out the noise of the heat tool. Very good video!
Yes please, Part 2. As you say there are so many uses of embossing powder that we either don’t know or forgot about. Stencils and embossing powders are now my go to in my stash.
Your video popped up. And I just used an embossing powder for the first time last night!! I am now subscribed!! I love your fun and easy approach and your ideas are great! I could not pick a favorite, because I loved them all. Yes to a part 2🎉
Beautiful cards. You used one of my favorite color combos - pink & orange.😃 thanks for the reminder to use water color paper. Something I often forget. 😄 Yes please, part 2! (I found it 😘)
Because of how well this video was received, I'll definitely be doing one! It'll probably be on Sunday, so only a few more days left to wait lol! Happy crafting and thanks for watching!
Thank you so much, I really hope you enjoy playing! If you're on Instagram, make sure to tag me as I'd love to see ALL the embossing! Have a great rest of your day and happy crafting!
Great ideas. Your comment about how the coffee filter is "malleable" triggered my former science teacher self, though. Since you're still in school, I will go with it. Metal is malleable; play dough is malleable (able to be formed into new shapes). Paper is "flexible!" Crumple up a piece of paper, even filter paper, and when you unfold it, it is still the same shape. Anyway, I would love a part 2. Keep the ideas coming!
@@Martha-l8c7cit’s amazing how offended you seem from the mere mention of a fact. The OP wasn’t rude about it. Words and their correct usage actually matter to some. (On a side note, I’d like to compliment you on your writing. For real - not being sarcastic. I like your writing style.)
You got me lol! I'm getting flashbacks to chemistry last year...and to be honest it wasn't my favorite class, so most of that info has disappeared from my mind! Thank you so much for watching, and I'm so happy that you like the techniques! Part two is in the works, and will be posted on Sunday at 10:30am Eastern! Happy crafting!
I know so very little about embossing. I do have a large clear embossing ink pad. I think that’s what you call it, but I do t really have any other supplies. I am excited to learn more about embossing and hope I have found the right channel for it.
I liked the dry powder and then spraying with water. It was dramatic. Also liked unicorn Frappuccino. Try mixing heat embossing with acrylic paint. You can heat emboss on top of paint as well as paint over heat embossing. Heat embossing on top of stenciled texture paste is quite fun. Layered patterns. Proportion is the only tricky bit. You can even mix the embossing powder into an acrylic medium and heat it after the medium has thoroughly dried. Just be careful not to burn the medium. I really dig making stuff that looks like it was in a shipwreck and pulled off the ocean floor a few hundred years later. I like creating artificial corrosion. That’s what motivated me to experiment with embossing powder and acrylic paints and mediums.
I'm so happy you enjoyed the video! It's funny you mention texture paste with a stencil, because I did record that but it got cut from the video. I like to keep my videos under 15min when possible, because I find people start to get bored after that, so it got cut for time. That technique is why I wanted to do a part 2, which I will definitely be doing! Thank you for these tips, I have so many things to try now! Have a great rest of your day and happy crafting!
Part two is in the works, and will be posted on Sunday at 10:30am Eastern! I'm so happy that you enjoyed the video too! Thanks for watching and happy crafting!
I always waffle back and forth between just having a clear powder that you can lay over any ink color, or colors. The only colors I have are thrifted. But you've given me ideas to try with both!
Say Brennan, I went looking for the Ton’s Confetti Arches embossing folder! I can’t find it! Where did you get it? I love 💕 it! Please help me find it! Thank you! I really enjoyed your video and the various techniques! Thanks for sharing!

Well if we are being picky, drops of water as opposed to bits of water.
Thank you! I did not know that:)

Can you tell me about that magnetic sheet to hold on to your cardstock when you stamp ?
Any tips on getting off the powder to prevent the embossing bag contents off colored cardstock?
Pencil eraser or a dry microfiber cloth gets the powder off
Please do a Part ztwo
