- Rüdesheim am Rhein is a German winemaking town in the Rhine Gorge, and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in this region. It is a major tourist attraction, especially for foreign visitors. Uphill (go by car or ropeway) you will find the Niederwald monument and its surroundings. The monument is one of a select group of national monuments in Germany and is a major attraction. It has a tremendous view over the Rhine, Rüdesheim and Bingen. You can combine the visit with a walk in the forest that includes an animal park and other smaller places to see.
Thanks for watching and supporting!
I've been to Rudesheim three times, on Rhine cruises, the last time in May this year. Probably one of my favourite places to visit on the Rhine. Really nice little town. I love the views across the Rhine from the cable car.
I love Rudesheim. I live in Kaiserslautern and whenever I need some a good day trip it never disappoints
Very nice. Hope to see more hessen town walks like this
