Just installed on 2022 Trail Boss LT; product is extremely well made. No fitment issues at all. It does make the truck fairly loud, particularly on cold start and rapid acceleration. Fair when cruising around town, or at moderate highway speed (like 50-60 mph). At interstate speed (70ish) the drone gets to be a bit much. For me, it's annoying enough to be on the market for another product, probably a full cat back exhaust system with muffler. Also, wish MBRP did something to address the flapper valve issue; don't think leaving it in is the right answer. In any case, if about $100 is all you have - well, better than stock if you can handle the drone on the interstate.
Installed on my 6.2, didn’t want the loudest exhaust and this did not disappoint in that department lol. Its no where near as loud as videos makes it sound. However price is great the quality is very good and fitment no issues. Deffo a difference in throttle response feels much more responsive. Muffler tone/voice is good but the volume is damn near 0. Waiting for my CAI to see if that helps open her up, if not cutting the muffler out and keep the pipes that came with it.
How you like it after cia I did cia before exhaust with a bigger polished ported throttle body from Katech and just ordered a sprint booster now I’m looking for an exhaust preferably a quieter one
@@caseG80 sorry for late reply. I cut it off for a super 10. But the headers must be restricting cause its not as loud as previous generations. Much better though with super 10.
@@MBRPexhaust-TV why would anyone bother spending $1000 on your kit when a $30 section of pipe some clamps and a sawzall would do the same if they are just gonna straight pipe it???

I'll stick with my 2000 Chevy Silverado 4.8 sounds way better its true duals with 2" pipes and 2 glass packs 8" long 12" overall and 45° angle out the back with 2 and a half inch tips
I don't agree. Coyote is far from being the best sounding engine. Over the last decade or so Ford engines have gotten to be a lot worse sounding than they used to, but GM has stepped up and made the GEN5 SBC engines sound better than the older GEN3/GEN4 LS engines. (other than maybe a LS7) Even Voodoo isn't all that great sounding, it's just loud, unique and attention grabbing. A butt F'in 2004 Mustang GT with a POS 2V Modular 4.6L sounds better than a modern day Coyote Mustang. (assuming you mod the exhaust equally on both engines) Is a 2V Modular engine as good as a Coyote? Hell F'in no! Not even close. 2V Modulars flow like shit, but they sound damn good doing it. An old 5.0L OHV Mustang with an O/R H-pipe or Pro-Chamber and some 40 Series Flowmasters sounds better than a Coyote with pretty much any exhaust setup. A GEN2 Lightning or GEN1 H/D (SC'ed 5.4L 2V Modular) with a properly setup exhaust and ported/pulleyed Eaton is IMHO one of the best sounding vehicles ever. Also a Coyote isn't in a Terminators league from a sound perspective. It reminds me of GM going from a 350 based GEN2 LT1 to a GEN3 LS1 in the Camaros/Vettes. (The same applys for all GEN2 vs GEN3 SBC engines) The LT1 sounded a lot better than a LS1, but sounds can be deceiving as a LS1 is a much better all around motor than a GEN2 LT1. Blame it on the new firing order for either the LS or Coyote engines, but it is what it is. Is all that to say that Coyotes are bad sound? No, there are some great sounding Coyote cars, but there are some great sounding LS vehicles as well, but don't mistake either with being the best sounding motors out there. Many people often associate attention getting V8's with being good sounding, and that's often not the case. When comparing Coyotes to the GEN5 SBC I personally feel that Coyote sounds better at idle, but GEN5 SBC sounds better under a load. That's my opinion anyway.

I like that it is not egregious and gives the V8 what it deserves. Nice job
Nice review, great sound!

I had MBRP on my 18 Silverado that I just traded in on a 2020 trail boss 6.2 and I'll be going with MBRP again.
@@MBRPexhaust-TV just ordered my new MBRP catback from RealTrucks, can't wait to get it on.👍
@@dubltap7216 what are couple reasons you went this route? Price / sound ect ? Thanks
Does it drone at 70-80mph?
Was that the performance optioned exhaust set up originally?
Do the weld seams rust, like Roush and just about every other kit? And where the hangers are rust
So the original pipe is 3.5" and this is 3" ?
Guys the link you posted only goes to a 2.5" exhaust. Where is the link for the 3"?
@@MBRPexhaust-TV no thank you!
@@kromko52 so is there a 3 inch or just a 2.5?
Great video!!! Do you offer a system for the 2020 2500HD?
Is that a stock driveshaft? The sticker on it tells me it’s an aftermarket one, nonetheless awesome video
The stock ones have stickers. Mine does and it’s stock. Looks exactly the same.
How’s the drone in the cab?
Any numbers on HP and torque gain?
Thanks!
You say 3" bit Everytime I click on the link I get rotted to a two and a half and can't find a 3 in exhaust
Does this fit the 2021 trail boss 6.2?
If that exhaust was supposed to sound good that video didn't do it any justice . Definitely didn't sell me on that exhaust
I have a 2015 Sierra with a 6.2. Do you have any videos of an exhaust system on that? Was wanting something like this, S5086BLK
@@MBRPexhaust-TV thank you, ya know if ya want to do a collab I'd be willing haha
Any drone or sounds like stock in the cabin
Any drone?
Why so quiet, I would have thought the 6.2 would scream. Im looking for exhaust for my 6.2 but I want something loud

Muffler delete
Realistically you'll need true headers and a cai if you want the best/loudest sound you can get from it.
@@MBRPexhaust-TV thank you!
@@MrSirGiuseppe good to know thank you
Had an MBRP on my 6.4 Power Wagon. Never again. Drone is ridiculous.
Windows down would've sounded way louder
Sounds stock
Yeah
I'll pass this doesn't sound that good at all, doesn't sound that much better than stock
