Turok 2 Remastered Any% Speedrun Tutorial - Part 4 River of Souls

Hi everyone, welcome to my Any% Speedrunning Tutorial for Turok 2: Seeds of Evil EX (Remastered version by Night Dive Studios.)
In this part, I cover River of Souls. The first half of this video is commentated and will show you the route as well as how the tricks are done. The second half is a demonstration of what a decent River of Souls segment should look like in a run.
Ammo management is very difficult in this level so don't be afraid of using the Plasma Rifle in Death Marshes if you're new and have a lot of time to save here. Otherwise, use Shredder green shells and Mag60 to get clean headshots on Endtrails.
Make sure you have atleast 5 explosive shells for the zombie lair underground, where the first Sister of Despair is. It is crucial you are able to oneshot the bigger zombies, as they have a lot of health.

Hi everyone! Rifampin here. That bridge jump at 7:52 is insanely precise and by far one of the hardest tricks in the entire speedrun. It saves around 15 seconds if hit first try. I'm still looking for a 100% reproducible method to do it, but if anyone watching is curious of how I'm currently setting it up I'd be glad to help with more explanation! I was a bit shy and didn't leave any commentary for the clip I provided to Kasei so feel free to reply for more info. Or reach out in the Turok Speedrunning discord to ask me or any others who have been grinding this jump since its discovery a few months ago how we set up this jump! I'm sure the others have different strategies than I do.
