I'm just starting to understand and get comfortable with concealing and correcting and highlighting and I've found this palette to be a great one to experiment with and use in different ways. Another great, balanced and informative video! I like how that stiffer/thicker consistency can often be a good thing with these products because they cling, stay put and don't travel as quickly because they're less emollient. I enjoyed this and it's really nice to have a inexpensive option for our everyday face.

NYX sells individual concealer in jars they have a dark orange, yellow, and even green, and I think they go for 5 dollars! My black female friends tell me the orange is great for dark spots!
Wow great comparison !! I'm super picky about concealer because I'm over 40. I've never tried the MAC but I trust your opinion so I may give this a shot. Can't beat the price !

glad I stumbled upon this video. I have the NYX pallet, and I think I'm your shade, maybe slightly darker and was interested in seeing a woman of color use this product. but the product appears very ashy and pale on my skin!
I love your vids! I really like the consistency of the nyx only because in humidity it doesn't revert like the mac does. Nyx stats in place and doesn't smear when your out having fun
I'm glad so many people have had success with the nyx palette! I unfortunately have had no luck with it. I bought it in the summer and i bought the two lightest shades of the palette because I'm italian and my skin is very dark and olive toned when i tan in the summer but i'm irish too so i get super pale in the winter and when i tried using this palette in the summer time it was awful, all of the tones were very yellow and didn't blend AT ALL i used a beauty blender and when that didn't work i used a regular make up sponge and then a stippling brush and nothing worked it was literally a line. I gave it a rest and went back today since my tan is gone and i had the same results using the lighter palette. The undertones were unflattering and i couldn't blend it out for the life of me. I'm really disappointed because i really love nix products. Feel free to let me know if anybody else had this problem because i feel like I'm the only one...

+NotYourAverageCurl Perhaps the deep kit would work best for you. I'm a bit lighter than her and that's the kit I'm getting. The NYX colors are a bit lighter or similar (but not the same as MAC colors)....my guess is the NYX deep kit would be a better match for those who use Medium Deep in the MAC palette seems like the closest match from all the NYX kits to me.
The nyx one is somuch lighter than it looks! I thought i had to get the light one and ALL of the shades except the contour was lighter than my skin, i recommend the deep for sure

Great review do you recommend them for dry skin ? I wouldn't use them to really conceal my under eyes, except that orange color to color correct my raccoon eyes in the morning lol. It looks like it would work great for blemishes and dark spots

I love this video! Super informative. I swatched the NYX one in store and I did feel that waxy texture. I think it might be nice to get regardless. I want to the MAC one but I think NYX one will be nice for testing it out and seeing if I want to invest in the MAC one.

Adding a tiny drop of Argan oil to the NYX concealers solves the texture issue.

Whenever I want to blend/apply makeup and it is somewhat firm or not easily applied I either add water to my face/fingers or I add a little lotion.
