Begode Master V2 with Samsung 50E Cells
It was my first cutout so few things were blurry at the time of crash.
My weight is 83kg so total riders weight was 93kg approx.
was cruising at around 28mph, wasn't pushing the wheel. i know what pushing the wheel means i have s18 too.
It cutout and just pushed me forward on my right hand and my face to eat dirt, was on fire when i looked back.
Haven't had any major accidents or anything on this wheel, this was my fav thing ever.
the only problem i had was screen not coming on when the weather was cold.
It did balance whilst screen didn't work.

Friend, we are sorry for your loss. Can You tell us more background facts, please! Is it Samsung 50E config with Begode BMS? How long you`ve been riding it? Any natural explanation for this low speed cutout? Can you see if it mosfets or capacitors blow up? Thank You! ❤

Not really a fire. Very typical control board failure. More importantly, can you elaborate on what lead up to the failure? Hope your recovery is speedy.

@akeuc5770 i dont know exactly what happend. It might be just a bad board. They introduced the chip recently. I was one of the first one to report screen problems on Facebook.
Will always be a mystery to me. I might just be done with begode wheels
@lectric3 dang I've got a V2 master as well and the display + BT has started intermittently cutting off/flickering. So far nothing affecting performance of the wheel, but indicates there's something fucky goin on upstairs. Did you fracture something in your hand? Hope you heal up and get back to normalsy ASAP man, thanks for sharing this.
Glad you are ok mate... I hope your hand gets better soon. That does it for me... I don't want any of the new wheels... they all have issues. I have a Sherman, Nikola and MCM5... I am happy with those. If I need a new wheel, I will look for older wheels (pre- 2022) get well soon mate... Hope begode looks after you!
Nikola? I thought the Nikola was a fire 🔥 Hazard.
@@DreiSkins101 All products with lithium ion batteries are potential fire hazards... not just EUCs... scooters, cars, phones or vapes... if a battery decides to go up... up it goes. Until I have issues with my Nikola... it is just a flaming good wheel haha

I have the MCM to teach friends on (very entertaining) and learn tricks and fool around on, The Nikola is my go-to wheel... it is smooth, powerful, fast enough and extremely comfortable. Works for my sub 60km rides... and the Sherman is great for longer rides. I have everything covered and they are free entertainment. If I were to buy ONE suspension wheel, I would likely want to ride it, a suspension wheel would cost me at least $AU5k and my wheels I have now would become instantly obsolete and I would have to sell them for cheap. So, I can spend alot of money to make myself unhappy... or spend nothing and continue to enjoy what I already own

My right hand looked the same one night, forgot to put on gloves and wrist gaurds…7mo ago… still have issues…

Cut outs suck because you then feel like you can't trust your machine.
Was thinking of getting the Begode ex30, but now maybe I'll stick with the v-13 or go with the sherman S.
Begode wheels are fun, but man you just never know if they're gonna kill ya. lol
yep yep you are right. begode are fast and fun untill you go down., it hurts even more when you dont see it coming. Sherman s looks good
@@lectric3 so I ended up switching from the v13 to the ex30, but I did think it through and hope that my precautions will keep me upright. I considered the ex30 has decent waterproofing and probably the best motherboard of all current Begode wheels so far with plenty of mosfetts. On top of that I ordered the high discharge 40 T battery packs and am including God mod as well. Praying this will do the trick!
@@ostumbling i have tested the ex30 its s beat of a wheel. Definitely better than the v13 so good choice. You dont need any God mode or this wheel is alteady powerful on its own. Its wide though and you need proper pads to get the power out of it. I would be my wheel of i didnt crash my master. Unfortunately no more begode wheels for me.

THX for sharing experience i hope you heal asap add some info inside video description. After my fall half my protecxtion gear worht 1000 Eur was destroyed but my body was OK (except brain damage). And some crazy RIders use cyclystic helm OMG for them.
Good news bud. It looks like a motherboard issue instead of a battery one. I think you solved what the parallel battery safety will do. Nothing but blow a fuse and short the board.

Battery was 95% ish. Battires didn't catch fire no. But they were beeping and voltages were all over the place

Sorry about this, I just ordered a v2 from China so really concerned. Did you make any modifications with the wiring by any chance before the accident or it is all standard?

So went to fly my drone. No high speed riding. Was cruising at 28mph ish. Then it cutout out and forced me off to the ground
Why put it in grass lol
That path is very busy in the morning, bicycles and runners with dogs. Plus the grass was very wet. At that time i thought was a good idea
Got knocked was not thinking clearly, need to be safe look like a bad crash. Learn from mistakes
looks like fuses blew as they should and didn't turn the batteries into fireballs. 👍 going to assume your injuries was from the crash when it died.
Yh it landed me on my face and my rught hand. Which was bloody painful. I tried to open the wheel with my hand to disconnect the batteries, but as you can see I wasn't very successful at saving anything. I had sever nose bleed due to helmet hitting my nose.
Alot of other injuries which are becoming know the next day (today).
Ouch that is a big spell, how long you had the master???
May be a month had roughly 200 miles on it

Very disappointed in the V2 of the motherboard. Begode, you need to clean up your quality control and testing!
You okay? I got a V1 Master and this is my worst fear.
Batteries randomly exploding in my home is my worst fear.
Followed by random cutout at a close second.
I will probably be ok with full gear, but a fire definitely means home gone.

Grass patch wasnt big and also that was a path way where elderly come for their dog walk. Didn't want to hurt anyone. Grass was also very wet

do you have any idea what could have caused a cut-out, you were talking about updating, when we look at the begode motherboards we see what are poorly made I am referring to the Russian site ecodrift I wanted to take a master I will abstain, but all Chinese wheels have lots of problems at the moment!
yes i am getting in touch with my vendor if they dont do anything i will taljk to begode directly. for now i dont recomend master right now just because of my experience

Yep it just cutout on me. Hurts that your favourite wheel just makes you eat dirt. Still in process with the begode
@@lectric3 I'm thinking this could be a lemon. Hope you get better parts that works. Master w/ the city pro should be solid IMHO. Too bad the parts weren't good. Look on the bright side, you are getting rid of the bad parts and also took a fall at a quite low speed. Chalk it up to experience! 👍👍

Kinda misleading title there? I dont see a fire or flames. I was expecting fireworks lol. Id say this is a begode master blown motherboard or something. When i was expecting fireworks, i got nervous when u dragged it over to the grass lol.

Dude I get you want to have a click baity title but you Master isnt on "fire". Instead you smoked the mobo. You would know if theres a li ion fire as they wouldnt be much of a wheel left. Either you're hyperventing hysteria or your definition of fire is vastly different than mine. Regardless good you're ok & your wheel will fine with a new mobo.
PS: batch 3 has new updated mobo. So maybe you should install in the newest mobo 😉

i know some t4s are having similar screen issues which caused my mobo to burn. Not sure if master v3 is any better.

Are you saying then, that a malfunctioning screen is a sign the motherboard is about to go belly up?
@@thenotoriouseuc screen going off means something is happening in your wheel that is not normal. Somewhere on your board there is a small short circuit, which is stopping tour screen to work
so your board blew, that’s horrible and makes it hard to trust these things again.

Just buy a new board and solder a few wires back.
The battery could also be mostly undamaged so can keep using it afterwards.

@@Reawer Daredevils have always been willing to risk their lives to go fast. Gotway provides that. Could it be built safer? Yes, sure, but it's not that important. Everyone dies. Why not go out in style while also having fun.

YOU NEED TO!
BTW, v12 riders laugh when we here "ride the beeps"🤣🤣🤣(sorry had to) because WE DONT HAVE "BEEPS"🤣.
We have TILT BACK. A feature that when you hit 1 mph below 43 mph(v12's top speed) the wheel automatically tilts backward slowing you down and stopping a full cut out crash.
I hit tilt back at 42 mph 4 times in 3 seconds!!!!!!! Guys that's totally destroying a $2300 wheel 4 times in 3 seconds. That's $9200 worth of DESTROYED electric unicycle in 1 ride during just 3 seconds of riding! And I get to keep riding with ZERO DAMAGE!
Can all y'all begode owners ride your wheel and essentially do something that wrecks you 4 times in 3 seconds at max speed and still not go down???????????????????????????

Yes i am looking at v13 too. Btw i wasnt not riding beeps, i never had a crash been doing this for about 8 months now. This fire was caused by begodes QC
