The kickstand provides structural rigidity to the whole frame of the wheel. The batteries might start touching to the motor if you remove it. Just seen it on a Facebook post
@@CameronMassie it happen to mine, the wheel alignment will be off if you take off one side of the motor bolts to the suspension. in order to correct it, must be release both side bolts to motor then align it before tighten down the bolts again. other wise the kick stand can be scraping one side of the tire. and battery will be super close to the tire too.
I'm so jealous you got the courage/weather capacity to ride this time of year. Your wheels looking good! I Originally ordered the 40-t cell master but ewheels sent me the 50e instead. I was excited to try, so I just kept it even though they offered to send the 40-t. Will find out this summer how hot the wheel will get. Changing out the shock geometry was a pain, but at least it gave me something to work on while the snows on the ground. Good video!
Thank you for the video, nice carving! I got also ducktape extrafender with upgraded linkage :) Looking @ you ride makes me tempted to set a street tire to mine in the summer time :)
Thanks for talking about the 40-T cells! I wanted the long range batteries for my ex-30 because of its 36 mosfets and pack redundancy, but I concluded that the 40-T cells were necessary to keep electrical components cooler at high speeds. For a 4,000 w./ 100 lb. wheel, do you think the 40-T cells are curtail for cut out safety or do you believe mosfets and pack redundancies are adequate enough safety measures when using 50-E cells at high speeds? Cheers mate!
With 6 parallel on the ex-30 I would go for the 50e long range. The benefits of high discharge cells are much more effective on 4p or 2p wheels 🛞 it would be hard to notice a difference but I’m curious 👀
I have printed grab handles for my Master 50e, Front & Back. The Back Handle also offers protection for the shock. I 3D printed a block to replace the two rubber blocks supplied as a stand. I have also built a charge monitor. I have kept the stock pads, only I have fixed them with velcro and added additional pads for braking. I love my Master as well I think they revised the suspension by the time they got to mine (v3), because 200lb in the standard shock is fine against my 84kg weight. I have added extra cycle lights at the back as well, because the stock saddle thing is not fit for purpose. I'm considering changing from the CST-186 tyre to to a Street Michalin City Extra Tyre, though the knobbly tyre is not bad as long as you keep the pressure down (27psi in my case). I will get 60 miles out of my 50e batteries in the summer if you keep your speed to 25mph or less. Crank it and then well yes much reduced.
Great ride good video. I currently pilot a s22 gyrocycle, you heard me gyrocycle. The master I have yet to try but always wanted one for street riding with a pirelli angel tire, for the s22 gyrocycle is for fun I ride in the mountains, hit jumps and enjoy stairs. Where are you that mountain view is sweet.
Pittock mansion! It’s a beautiful historic house turned into public park and museum. Great views, constantly people from around the world. I guess we will see what these things end up being called. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks! I do like the modular aspect of the new Begode design. You could Change out the packs if needed. I think most of these cells are rated for about 500 charge cycles. After that they should have about 80% capacity remaining.
Way better looking than stock Master. Like a date that finally puts on lipstick and shaves her legs. Kinda resembles a one wheeled KITT from Knight Rider!
How you liking it compared to your experience w the Veteran? Is it as reliable? Also if you had the choice of veteran s or the master which would u go for?
I know I'm 3 months late to the game here but Begode should pay you bank for this 1000 mi review because I went all-in on this wheel from just your vid. Footnote: 1st Batch V12 HS owner
Hey whats up man good to see you back im thinking about upgrading to a new wheel I have the tesla t3 is that the high-speed version you have for the master and ill be using your affiliate code
Thanks! I have the 40T variant. All of the newer higher voltage Begodes are all high torque motors but because of the insane voltage they can reach speeds of 50mph. The only options available should just be battery type :)
Finally someone who rides the master the same way I do. But I got the 50E version.
50E version won at Apple valley speedway!
@@CameronMassie You're not wrong! I wonder if I got the chops to make it on the podium.

Ha! Interesting. Thanks for informing and commenting!
I cut mine off and made these.

beautiful wheel! very nice review, so cool seeing everything you added.
Thanks! It really does make you lean!

Even though it's 50e at least it's still a litech variety.
@@madbevo3946 i have master 50e in transit but i really want the 40t's but my dealer has no stock. how is the 50e going sir?
Curious how the litech 50e vs regular hold up. Thanks for commenting!
@Arata Yokoyama so far great, but the real test is this coming summer.
This video was a whole adventure! Man, love the content! 🎉
Thank you for the video, nice carving!

Thanks! Street tire does scare me on the mud tho haha
Love the headlight mod. Excellent review! I’ve got a master coming soon and can’t wait to mod it out
Enjoy it. Good choice 👍

@@CameronMassie Do you know if the BMS is on each of the 4 packs?
Jesus, you're flying on that thing!
Thanks yea It’s remarkable how fast these wheels are now.
Great video - that looks so clean!
Able to tell where we can get the new chip for theow temp headlight?
There are some great things about Portland. 6 months of winter isn't one of them. And yes, the Master is a great wheel, IMO.
Ha seriously 😒 the summers are amazing and then it lures you in and then…. 🌧️ 🌧️ 🌧️ 🤯

Yea the Grizzla designers are really innovative.
So sorry to be that guy, but what camera or cameras are you using to record??

WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR HELMET LIGHT ?
Amazon lol it’s from a company called steelmate I believe
really nice wheel, what street tire would you recommend ( carving and maneuverability )
Thanks! I’m personally eyeing the Michelin pilot street 2. From experience I’m a fan of the chao Yang h666 if you can find one.

Haha thanks
How much faster do the 40t cells charge over the 50e?
Armor Dilloz to prevent flat tires. what kind of range are you getting on that?
For sure! I get about 40-45 miles out of this wheel.
Why is that building in the background in the beginning censored? Or is it a moire issue?
Hmm? I guess maybe lens distortion not sure.
@@CameronMassie yeah do you see how it looks? It’s like really weird. By the way I like your content. Keep it up.
Does the Master from ewheels have dynamic tiltback?
I think you have to do it through EUC world or something.
Please share link for chip to replace the faulty headlight at low temps... have been meaning to get this fixed.
I was wondering what elbow pads you use?

Damn dude, from a onewheel to this. Literally, look at him speeding pass cars.
It’s a different vibe for sure. But part of me still wants like an absolute killer onewheel that could shred high speed. We will see.
