Patina Miller is the most energetic leading lady i've ever seen i loved this!!!!
i love how raise your voice just means: switch from head voice to a belt.
TESTIFY!!!
ahhahaah damn
So trueee! I'm used to only singing in my head voice (terrible habit, I know), so learning this song is really a piece of work :')
Took a chance on this while my mom and I were in London this week. SO glad we did, SENSATIONAL show, funny and bright and terrific entertainment!
Breath taking!!!! Alan Menken is mustly my favorite composer
I have only seen this a few times, and I just realized it was done 13 years ago. I was involved in a local community theater production of SISTER ACT before COVID arrived and it was an AWESOME show and we sold out every performance! GREAT TO SEE AND HEAR THIS HERE!
Yeah so her voice was better and stronger in this version than in the 2011 tony performance. She was just in that zone in this one. EXCELLENT.
Tony performances are usually sped up to jam in as many parts.
Well this was before she'd been playing the role for so many performances. Her voice was probably a bit tired by Tonys 2011.
oh god the clapping...
same
This just cheered me up no end
Seen the show 6 times. Going again later this year. I may be slightly addicted to it. It's absolutely brilliant!

I loved this show, sad that it left the west end too quickly
This is song is amazing! It puts a smile on my face and makes get up and dance.
So much energy, I think it's great.
don't forget that they were on broadway so it's sort of their job to sound just as good as in recording.....
Whoopi didn't SING like this, but she did a great job directing this. Fabulous!!
Patina Miller is AMAZING!
Me and my sister were on haliday in London in July, and we decided to go see a show. At first we thought we would see Mamma Mia but changed our mind and went to see this one and it was amazing. In France we have musical, but so far away from that. Everything was perfect. It was a fantastic evening. Too bad the theatre was only half full. They don't know what there are missing.
Sorry for my english.
Bravo from France, hoping to see it again here soon.
Man, this is one really great song! I enjoy and it sounds so better when you blast the volume with both highs and lows of notes! Alan Mencken and Glenn Slater penned a great song that really matched the show! Whoopee would be proud! Hee hee! Stiff competition this broadway show went against with The Book of Mormon and Anything Goes.
I saw it 4 months ago with my boyfriend, we both were so enthusiastic. The best musical ever!!!
I absolutely love the movies and it is great that there is a musical now.
Best show I've ever seeen! AMAZING!!
i just love Patina's energy!!! miming or live!
Saw this on Saturday night - absolutely amazing show. Great music, great choreography. Would go back in a shot to see it! :)
Patina Miller, I saw you for the 1st time on Power Book 111:Raising Kanan. You are an amazing, powerful talent that is rising. I am happy for you and wish you continued success in this business. It is NOT easy, I know. But I believe you are on your way to the top. 🙏 🤲 God guides and protects you every step of the way. You are like a breath of fresh air that puts a smile on our faces. I'm proud of you.
Patina is adorable - i so want to see her!
Saw it today! It's great!
This show was amazing i took my girlfriend to see it as a suprise we were both laughing and singing along the whole way through. Definately the best show i have seen since Phantom of the Opera.
Brilliant! Sure to win several Tony Awards!
I was listening to the Now Broadway channel on Sirius and they talked about the play and played this song!👍
what the heck is Patina Miller doing on musicals!?! She should be selling albums, starring in worldwide movies!!! I think I'm in love with a woman called Patina Miller!!!

@@sofiahjort5844 I'm an Old Rite Catholic btw and it's easier if you end up saying the Gloria every week! Also, I'm guessing you did Mary Lazarus?

@kate22uk ok yes you have point there but she has to be known out there!! she's just brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The us performance on the Tony's was a disaster this sounds just as good as it does on the soundtrack
Dolores in this version and the broadway version look and sound so alike!! :O
Thats because its the same one ;)
Brent Fabian Rayburn Blonde moment LOL
+Shane Curtin This comment made my day XD
WATERmaster901 Im glad you enjoyed it ;P
@MissLucyLizzy Awesome. I live near there.
My favorite part is 2:08 haha

plus they don't have mic's on. :(
unidan82 they do. They are on their heads
@sampson01253 totally agree
go and see it! its phenominal!!!!!
waouuu
woppie should do a cameo as her mother or somthing if they make it to the big screan or even better just to a kina rocky horror as they will probley do as the remake of that is in the works
She is phenominal!!! :D
Why does she call Alma Mary Lazerth? (aka the piano woman is Alma in the film but calls her Mary Lazerth here)
@kate22uk yer well i guess that's the case for musical stars....
but if i'm old enough to be an agent, i'd promote her all around the world. This world is missing those uplifting kind of singers!
It to bad this show not on broadway
Alan Menken and Glen slatter
Practicing the rap to audition for a solo. I can barely rap in English, but I’m better at rapping in Latin. For some reason.😅
The uk cast is soo much better
What's with sister's white eyeliner?
Lily Moscovitz i may be a bit late but it's silver glitter
Amy looks so different as a Nun haha
just as in a Tyler Perry play they have to have them there other wise the powerful voices would vibrate
@MissLucyLizzy It's a boarding school, so it's not near there.
Paul let Patina finish talking please😡
best show in london for me except for wicked and ave Q
So it’s the 3rd best
0:43 Pricless
Wonder where Marla Mindelle (Mary Robert) was this day, since that's one of her understudies. Also wonder why Patina's not in her full habit costume.
This is the London UK Cast. Marla Mindelle was in the Broadway Cast. Katie Rowley Jones originated the part of Mary Robert and in my opinion far better than Marla. They never wear full habit for media performances
got really annoyed with the audience clapping :P if they appreciate it, please dont cover their amazing voices with your boredom of sitting. just be amazed by the talent. Thank you, a broadway fan :)
I've been to it yesterday. Whilst the beginning is quite awful and made me think I had wasted my money it does pick up around song 4 and then really gets going. Some 25 mins into the show it becomes solid entertainment with great songs and scenography. Not the Avenue Q quality but I would still recommend it.
Just shame they went for total eye-watering bling at the very end. Too much, way too much.
I prefer the movie
