Same celebration also with the Philippines.. insane New Year, and street parties are everywhere with guys lighting the very loud firecrackers.. Almost all households are participating, lighting their own firecrackers plus honking horns, blowing trumpets,making noise in anyway they can..
When I lived there back in 99, the Airlines reported that when planes flew over the islands you couldn't see the islands because of all the SMOKE in the air lol.

Y'all wish you could be Texas. That's how it really is. The only Hawaii has that Texas doesn't is an active volcano and the Dallas fire department could put that thing out in 10 minutes. 😊LOL.
