In my 76 years I have heard countless performances of Brahms Op 114. This is an outstanding performance. Wonderfully recorded with superb balance between the three equal instruments. Also can I thank you giving details of the wonderful performers.
Lately I've come across a bunch of exceptional performances of Op. 114 on YT. This one is right up there with the best. Perfect ensemble. Runge's cello playing is particularly rich and soulful and Beatson strikes the perfect blend of piano presence--not too dominant to adversely affect the other instruments but just assertive enough to express that Brahmsian undertow. Heau's clarinet is in the mold of the more focused sound (perhaps using a narrower, more closed mouthpiece) which, for me, works best in this piece.

So beautiful, I have it an old CD, but nice to see it almost "live". Thanks, Tang Tee Khoon. And thanks all three fantastic musicians.
Sublime trio

I never knew Voldemort was such a sensitive cellist!
Maravilhosa essa maneira de tocar. Quanta delicadeza nos gestos, nas expressões para produzir um som mavioso.
