Yes! (First openly queer woman to win and first openly queer woman of colour to be nominated as well as the first Afro-Latina and second Latina actress after Rita Moreno)
Some of the other scenes I noticed: - During Aaron Burr's introductory song, the Bullet is staring at John Laurens the whole time during his verse, predicting his death. - She also played Sally Hemmings, one of Jefferson's slaves, in "What Did I Miss", and Sally's side of history was what led to Jefferson's downfall. - In the final duel, when Burr fires his gun, the Bullet is staring directly at Burr. The duel would lead to Burr becoming a public enemy, effectively ending his political career.
Also, during the "woah woah woah shout it to the rooftops" bit, the Bullet is lifted up in front of Peggy. While not explicitly stated in the musical, Peggy died yonge. Just a bit of a nod to that.
So basically the king really just wanted Hamilton dead and used the bullet to kill him? Because the king, like you said, always seemed to be in control of her, like he was telling her WHO to hit. And she was near Laurens and Phillip before they died, two people’s who’s death would absolutely ruin Hamilton, leading him to his own demise
Her first interaction with Hamilton is in the opening scene, and foretells the end of the show. As Burr raps about him “planning for the future” Hamilton closes a book and passes it to the Bullet. She leads the ensemble in pointing to the sky, then seem to fall backwards, as if they’ve been shot. It’s very subtle and quick.
I've actually thought that she was the bullet before she gets killed because She hung around lafayette so much and who was shot in his leg in his first battle? Laffayette. So she wasn't the omen of death yet... But it might just be a coincidence that they were always around each other.
@@YourLocalDave yes I agree with the meaning behind it, my point was only that the encounters with the bullet started during the second number rather than later in act one. I didn’t catch it until someone else pointed it out. So many layers!!
Something of note is that Philip was flirting with the bullet, he was literally flirting with death
And that the real story how Philip die
And from "The Bullet" to maybe an Oscar for her role in Spielberg's "West Side Story".

She also represents Hamilton's mother when he's remembering all of his love ones that already passed away
eliza switches with the bullet because she did everything she could to keep his story alive
me and my friends always called her "ensemble premium" as she had more roles in the actual show than the rest of the ensemble
When Laurens releases the hand shake his voice trails off as if being lost on the wind.
Sir, it's 3 am and I'm trying not to cry. a new layer to my fav musical. thanks for this. now subbed.

Woooow...I am mindblown. I loved this interpretation..but I will never be able to watch Hamilton the same again.
That's miss ACADEMY AWARD WINNING BULLET to you!!
Wow I love this musical even more now. A true masterpiece.
Woah I never noticed this! It’s the little things like this that make an already amazing musical even better!
One point of disagreement, in “My Shot” the bullet approaches Hamilton while he’s on the soap box and Lauren’s pushes her back with his arm.
Maybe it's a sign that death was always near Hamilton and only thanks to his friends he managed to stay alive for so long
