Beautifully kept machine. Got a lot of respect for the operators, mechanics, and companies that keep good care of their equipment.
Very Good Operator on that big CAT. He knows that it takes four heaped buckets to fully load those haul trucks. And that is exactly how he loads them consistently. Thanks PAmining, for another interesting, and well done video. By the way, that 6020B looks like it just arrived from the factory.
That you very much!
Vet,operator, knows how it's done no waisted time
It is a pleasure to watch this guy loading. Thanks for the video Justin
You're welcome!
crazy how thick the boom is
Nice video 👍👍👍
Nice full bucket for 4 pass loading...
Nice looking operation and equipment and operators. Why is that boom in the background not swinging? Do they need an operator ? Only a few months into this retirement stuff and really missing this stuff! Thanks again Justin. 👍👍🇺🇸
Nice equipment, very good operator
That’s incredible! Loved the video. 👌🏻😎
fantastic video ❤
nice machine, been run well, though the dozer could do with making a couple of passes over the loading area....bit too muck rock and roll there for comfort !
I noticed that also. Sometimes things get a little rough right at the loading area. At least they took it easy in those spots. You wouldn’t believe some of the things I’ve seen with dingbat drivers on bad roads, or maybe you would.
It's hard to keep a smooth floor in clay fellas. Thanks!
@@PAmining yep, haulage roads look pretty decent though, and good operators that know when to take it easy makes all the difference.
Nice job
It’s loading them in only four passes
@terrellscaife2411 Yes indeed, 25 tons per pass. Obviously the operator has a lot of experience. He is heaping every single bucket load. As you said, four passes & those haul trucks are maxed out.
@@williamhall9204exactly he definitely knows what he’s doing especially when you have millions of dollars of investment on the line tight profit margins and contract deadlines.
Uihnx @@williamhall9204
He does it well, the bench is a tad too high though, would be quicker if it was about the same height as the tray on the 777.
Agreed, an optimum bench would be half that height, but I've never been on a mining site in my life where everything is by-the-book perfect.
Love the 4k! Sick CAT
I told you, 4k and 8k on the way 😁 still have a bunch of older videos to upload too
God Bl;ess Yall, Pal and that rig looks like a deal that was built for O&K and got bought off. Happy 4th!
Operator is very good full buckets doesn't spill dirt off bucket and smooth.
Amazing video
Glad you enjoyed it!
I just love beefy cats 😊
Very good operator, clean machine, dozer keep pads clean you don't see this oilsand fort mcmurray oil leaks, dirty machine, work site all mess up.thanks video😊
You're welcome:)
Awesome machine
All you need to do is look at the boom and dipper stick to see this is one massive machine. Very cool to get to watch. Being a dozer fan I hope you got (pr get) some footage of that dozer working in the background. 👍👍
Check the channels history.
@@frutt5k Been watching this channel for years now. Not many live videos of dozers at work and none in a long time. That's why I asked.
@@404nitro I must be mistaking with the mega machines channel.
I did and made sure I included some of it in the video 😁Thanks!
Dozers are difficult machines to film. I can only film them if they are on a short push, which isn't often. Big dozers like 11s are often on love shoves or working in areas to unsafe to access. Thanks
Isn't the key to a great operation is the efficiency of time every move costs money make it count .
I wanna see more of that dragline peeking out over the hill!
Haha! In due time sir!
clean yeah mann
posisi loading yang sangat indah dinikmati ❤❤❤
Alot faster than my 1250 😂
How old is that excavator Justin ? It looks well maintained. Great vid !
That machine is a 2021 model. Thanks!
Poor D11, makes a cameo and no mentions 😂 thanks again for sharing!
Haha! That's a D10 bro lol
nice dirt
Caterpillar excavator 6020b ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
some questions: 1) how much training is required to be a excuvator operator?, 2) how much do they make per hour?, 3) how long does such a backhoe like we have in this video last before its scrapped? THANKS!!.
There is some training out there but nothing beats seat time. These machines have to last for tens of thousands of hours to make the huge investment worth it. I looked up one for sale in Finland that had 24,000 hours on it.
@@xpred558 thanks for the info.
@jamesba-xd7xf Excavator operators are definitely well compensated. Especially those with a lot of experience. It’s all about productivity and at the same time working the machine within its limits. The operator in this video is an excellent example of that. The working life span of a large excavator such as this CAT 6020B will be based on several factors. In a very intensive mining operation the machine might accumulate 6,000+ hours per year. At that rate the excavator would have 60,000 hours on the clock in ten years. There have been cases in which a mining excavator racks up over 70,000 hours before needing a major rebuild. The equipment owner will only reach those hours if the maintenance has been spot on. Another big factor with machine longevity is the actual digging conditions. The big CAT in this video is working in ideal conditions. The digging is very easy for the machine.Such conditions are not always the case. If the excavator is working on poorly blasted rock formations, we would see more of a struggle to load the bucket and much more abrasion to the bucket and tracks. So the digging conditions are a big factor. That’s why it is so important to equip the excavator with the correct bucket, teeth, and wear package depending on what you are mainly excavating.I just want to clarify my example of a machine working 6,000 hours in a year. That could be 6 days @20 hours per day. Two shifts of 10 hours each and 1 day @10 hours with the remaining time used for maintenance, cleaning, inspection, etc.Take Care.

Waiting for a 6020 to show up around me in Western PA.
There is one working in Myersdale 😉
@@PAmining I'll have to check it out.
