One of the Best of the coyote hunting UA-cam channel
Thank you! We appreciate it.
I have never been hunting coyotes. But my Father and I used to trap them. It really got my blood pumping. We also trapped other things.like bobcat, fox, beaver, and minx. And we sometimes got a skunk 😅. Phew wee! Lol! I still deer and turkey hunt. I am a 61 year old woman in central Alabama. I have been disabled since 2004. But when I am in the woods hunting, if I see a coyote it is dead meat. My son got me started watching you. I enjoy watching you hunt. Please keep sending out your videos.
Another Arizona banger boys that was good sh*t
This episode had it all! You called in coyotes, bobcats, a gray fox and at about the 18:40 mark you might even have called in that bull! 🙂 Like most viewers, I too appreciated the time you take to explain the setup, the sounds used and the backstory as to why. The camera work was superb and the editing work was spot on - kudos to your crew. Lastly, what this episode didn't have was the obnoxious, loud filler music found in your previous episode which degraded the otherwise stellar content. Keep it up Geoff, you have a good thing going now!
Appreciate the feedback, thx!!
You might talk to Rick beings the unit lost communication with the remote and see if that's covered under warranty 🤣🤣
Absolutely loved this episode, nothing but to of the line as usual. Can't believe he shot the call !! Almost a couple times. Love em that close
👊
Great video once again.
Shout out to your camera operators. It takes skill to operate a camera. Everyone thinks it just point and push a button. However, it takes a lot a skill anticipate the movements of everything and everyone in the shoot, framing, lighting, angles, smooth movement, etc.
Merry Xmas, Happy New Year and stay safe.
Agreed. I'm a photographer and I've always been impressed with the production quality on this channel.
We appreciate it!
The drone footage is an epic addition.
Nothing better than hunting coyotes, foxes, and bobcats
Amen to that.
Great stuff! 👍
Awesome filming shooting calling - love it
Thanks, Bob!
Wonderful three day trip, well done, some great shots. Take care be safe. Graham🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍
👍👍👍
Great episode Geoff! Good information in this one!
👊
Hey guys love the videos I watch and learn so much from them
Thanks for watching, Kamden! We appreciate it.
Geoff I’ve enjoyed the podcasts. Please keep them coming.
Thx man...more good stuff to come!
Heck of a trip. Good job.
You guys amaze me at how many totes you can get called in. I camo up, work the wind etc etc and rarely get more than two to show up. My caller is at least 8 years old but still sounds great. Guys that hunt with me sitting off like 50 yards say the sounds are clear and realistic. I don't over hunt but hunt the same farms from various directions depending on the wind, On any given evening there are at least 3 different packs howling as the sun sets. So there are yotes. I'm 72 years old and been killing stuff since I was 7 years old. My favorite rifle for these critters is a Stag 5.56 with a 20" barrel. Leupold 4x12. It's a tack driver. Hey guys. I really glad your channel popped up as I'm enjoying seeing you in action. Good Luck and be careful out there. It's a screwed up world anymore. And Merry Christmas
Thx Tim...keep after it!! I hope I'm still blasting coyotes when I'm 72!!!
Awesome video guys!
Just got done listening to your podcast with Rick. Show some of those old school videos! Can’t wait for some of the thermal hunts.
I've been telling him to get his vhs and DVD stuff transfered over to UA-cam but he doesn't listen! 🤣
I love it. Thanks again for another great episode
👍👍👍
@@GeoffNemnich Merry Christmas to you, your family and the whole Lucky Duck crew. I look forward to more new episodes and watching the old ones too.
@@mickhenderson3505 thx Mick, same to you and your family!
Awesome job as always fellas!
Happy holidays to you all!
Thx and same to you Nathan!
Awesome Video Boyz!!! Headed out for a hunt with buddies Friday. This has got me all amped up! Just gave the revolt a “snow” paint job so we will see how that turns out. Thanks for the footage. Well done. Looking for a video on moving sounds and organizing sounds on the revolt. Can’t find it. Might be a good video to consider for the future. Unless you already made one and I just missed it. Thanks again!
Stinkin Dustin!😂😂😂😂. He’s a expensive guy to have around but makes for great footage.😂😂😂
Haha...I will try and put up a vid over on my page about moving folders and sounds.
Good luck on your hunt!!
Getting better & better boys! Looking forward to our trip to AZ in March. Alliance, NE
Good luck man!
Great video Geoff, I love the content and videography. Keep em comin.
🍻
Great and exciting video...keep em comin
👊
I knew it. You guys were gonna go back to my spot and violate it. Well since I haven't got my lazy butt out someone has to. Great video!
Same I wanted to get out there down south before these killers cleaned house but didn’t have a chance.. still plenty to go around I’m sure
🤣 early bird gets the worm!!
Thats what the warranty is good for lol. Return the call after you shoot it for another 😂
🤣
Love the videos, great information. Still working on getting this good. Would love to see some hunts in some covered wooded areas! That’s about the only hunting here I get to do. Love the podcasts too!!
Thx man!
Great shots on 22 coyotes 2 bobcats 1 fox and 1 call! Good shots on all except the call!
🤣🤣🤣 thx man!
Wow you guys are brilliant
Great video guys! That ole boy is bad news for predators with that shotgun!
👍
I think Justin believes buckshot damage is covered under warranty
🤣
20:10 “Fuck yeah” haha
Epic video ! 🔥 Good shooting. WOW beautiful setting at 12:56 😻 Greetings from Mel Kleinhans Safaris, South Africa.🐾
👊
Wow! Really great footage this week! Loved Dustin mag dumping on the cat and following up with a Coyote/Revolt combo shot! Looking forward to the next episode and perhaps some new Rick-isms?!?!?
Rick is coming up in the next 2 episodes so watch out!!!! 😁😁
@@GeoffNemnich Ohhh yea! My dobbers have been down with no Rick! I’ll try to not get all goon’d up before the next episode drops. 😂😎😬
@@BoilerBones03 hahaha
Yea it's a shame we dont have more Bobcats in nebraska none in my area.... awesome footage
Outstanding video!
My selfish wish is to see more footage of Rocky Racoon hunting! I always have a belly laugh! 👍👍
We will keep that in mind! :)
Soon!!
always excited when a new video comes out!!
👊
When is lucky duck coming out with the revolt arizona edition the bullet proof design? Great video yet again.
🤣🤣🤣
Damn! he laid that call out! Great shootin'.... lmao
😁
Sometimes you just gotta shoot the call man! Lol, cool stuff I have a lot of coyotes like 30 minutes from my home base, really wanna go try and get one .
Love all the videos! I was just wondering what websites you download your extra call sounds from to use with the Revolt?
Hey I really enjoyed this episode
Glad you enjoyed it, Michael! Thank you!
At the 15:50 mark that first coyote you shot is looking around trying to leave 🤣
😁 he hesitated a bit too long!!
@Lucky Duck. Great episode Geoff. Appreciate the moderation with the sound levels. Much more watchable than the last episode.
You might challenge Dustin to hit the critters as close as he can to 3'-2" from the call instead of using the call as a shield. Cheaper that way!
Haha!! Appreciate the feedback Tim!
Geoff what caliber you shoot in the your AR?
@@jdcamo1 223 man
@@GeoffNemnich 53 grain Hornady amax, right!

Hey Geoff, absolutely love your videos and I really like using my Lucky Duck caller. I hunt down in the southeast corner of Nebraska. I was wondering what your go to call sequences are this time of the year, especially with snow on the ground?
Thx!! Later in the winter I'm using primarily coyote sounds, no rabbit or prey stuff. So like serenades, pup distress, Coyote fights and breeding sounds
Shoot we were shooting up the solid state models back in the day or night.
I have a question so when u switch sounds do u give it some time or u switch right after the other one if that sound ain't calling in anything?
Reaching out from Colorado. Love watching your videos. Awesome. Curious, do you sell the furs?
If we are hunting in areas where the fur is worth money then we do sell them
Y’all need to come hunt SC Kansas with me. We have a lot of land and y’all are always welcome
👊
Do you have a link to the ear pieces you use to talk to each other during the stand?
Anyone have a link to something they use that works well?
Great episode. I love the swagger, but your rifle has to have a stiff for-end or else they’ll change you point of impact. I have an LVSF and the stock for-end is pretty flimsy, cost me a yote.
Daniel Defense are as good as they get, never an issue!
Welcome
Im here in az and would love to hunt with you sometime your here. Got a bit cat 3 days ago. Had a 5 minute stare down with it before i got a shot off.
What size shell and shot are you using in e 12 gauge?
Awesome video guys! Would mind telling me exactly what shotgun and choke you guys used?
I dont know for sure the brand Dustin was using...it's his waterfowl shotgun tho
Great video guys - what kind of shotgun ammo did you use? Shot size?
regards from Switzerland
Hornady 3" BB
I’ve been watching The Last Stand and listening to your podcast and one thing I was wondering on is how much do you pause the call? You were talking about the length you call for with each sound being 3-6 min roughly. Do you just roll into the next sound for another 3-6 min or do you give it a pause for a bit between each sound?
Thx for following along!! Yes I just roll right into the next sound, I don't pause for any amount of time
Goodstuff guys!! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you as well, Greg!
Love the content! It seems your suppressors are super quiet, what brand are they ? Also what's your take on the 224 Valkyrie for coyotes?
I'm running a Gemtech Sandstorm in 30 cal. I've never shot a Valerie but I'm guessing it would work just fine for coyotes!
Ok I've got a gemtech Halo as well, just thought it sounded a lot differently. Thanks for the help!
Love your stuff! How do you avoid rattle snakes?
What kind of set for the shotgun do you guys use? I have a Remington verse max shotgun which choke do you recommend for me out west in Oregon along with what load for it?
Just gotta test out your shotgun with various chokes and loads. My benelli sbe2 shoots the Hirnady 3" BB the best with the factory Improved Mid choke
Is i'm guessing a big key of your success. Is the thermal binoculars. So hard to see those buggers in the cover.. I run thermal scopes for night hunting but binoculars would probably be the way
What shotgun shells/choke do you use?
Love this shit!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woohoo!! Also, On Wisconsin!
Hey Jeff on the last day when you called the coyote and gray fox what were you using I know well I think it was sig kicking azz 3 what sequence did you use
Coyote came in on luckypecker then after shot I switched to sig 3 then the grey fox showed up a few minutes later
Realy enjoyable video!!!!
Whats about Rick????Is he fine???
Haha he was in Alaska bear hunting for a month right around the time we filmed this. He'll be on the rest for the season!!
I was checking out Jackal hunting in the old world and even though they have a better sense of smell jackals just can't compare how smart coyotes are. Big predatory animals go and jackal numbers go down because of no scraps. Big predatory animals go down in Coyote country that coyotes numbers shoot up and take over.
Great job guys. You guys ever thought about calling northern Az
We've hunted up in north AZ quite a bit...just more coyotes south so we usually end up spending most of our time there
What chokes do y’all use in the shotguns? I have a benelli nova and was look at chokes for the #4 buck I got
Just depends really, every shotgun shoots a bit different
That's one way to advertise for the call lol
How far do you put the call out for shot gun distance ?
We have tons of luck in Pennsylvania with gray fox distress on cats
What volume are you using when the bobcat is that close to the call?
8-12 or so
what part of AZ did you hunt? Im from AZ would love to go out on a few stands with you fellas!
SE AZ
What caliber do you guys use? I'm looking for a new gun and not sure what to get was looking at a 22-250 or a.223
I run a Daniel defense mk12 in 223
You guys should make a Netflix show
That would be badass but Netflix is too liberal for a bunch of coyote killing!
What barrel length do you have on you shotgun…also what size of shotgun load and choke size. Lol lots of questions. I really want to start taking a shot gun.
I wouldn't worry about all that, Dustin just uses his waterfowl shotgun! Buy some ammo and experiment with a few different shit sizes and the chokes that come with the gun. You'll find a good combo that puts a bunch of pellets in a 12" circle at 30 yards
Excellent footage and shooting!!!! What shotgun shells and choke is Dustin using?
Hornady 3" BB but don't know what choke
Thanks Geoff!!
Do you wait any time with silence between different sounds you play?
Nope I just roll right into the next sound
I live in Tucson Arizona. I was wondering what area you guys where in?
Hit me up I’m from Tucson too, let’s link up we can talk huntin.
We stayed in Tucson 1 night while we were down there!
Is that the 29 or 42 bipod your using?
The 42
Geoff what length of Swagger bipod do you use?
I run the Hunter 42
Is a warranty good if you shoot them calls
Debatable!! 😁
Have you tried turning off the call when they get in close so the critter doesn't end up right at the call? Make them hold up looking for where the sound came from and give you a shot without risking shooting the call (again)...
Yep that's definitely a technique we use in some cases, but not when we are wanting to shotgun them right at the call!!
Nice 👍
What sound did u use before u hit the caller??
Rabbit
Can we get a gear rundown video? What’s in the pickup, in the packs, etc
I will try and put something together
I am an avid watcher, but I do not hunt. Please consider some of the following in your future videos:
1. Talk about how the coyote thinks -- why does he/she answer the calls that you use? Rabbit, Tweety Bird, Pup Distress, etc. Why are certain times of the year beneficial and how does it affect the way you approach the hunt? Talk about hunting tactics and go into more detail about why you use them when you do.
2. Where is the best place on the coyote to target? Some of your shots seem to drop them instantly while others seem to make them spin a few times before they go down. It appears that you prefer profile targets, rather than straight on head shots.
Please talk about the ammo you use: What are you looking for it to do?
3. What are the advantages of using the shotgun over the scoped rifle? In one of your videos, you mentioned that one of your team members preferred to hunt with a shotgun.
In one of your videos, you offered an introductory narrative telling us why you set up where you did in Utah and what to expect from the coming stand. In addition, you included some narrative commentary during the hunt. I found it to be useful. Please keep up the commentary as you proceed.
4. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share in your adventures. I am almost 70 years old and never had a chance to hunt. My father was a crack hunter from Utah who just never had an interest in it after returning from Vietnam. I now wish I could take my son out hunting here in Idaho, but I have gone 95% blind and have to be reasonable with what I can do.
Thanks for the feedback!! We try our best to put as much talking and info in as possible without the vids becoming too boring!!
What ammo are you using in the shotguns?
Hornady 3" BB
I can show you some of the prettiest places AZ has to offer and some good coyote hunting in the high country where I live
👍
What cameras do you use? What caliber rifles you use?
Expensive cameras!! Sorry I don't know the specs on what our camera guys use. I'm running a Daniel Defense mk12
So, what do you do with the carcasses at the end of the hunt?
If the fur is good we sell to a fur buyer, if it's not we feed the birds and worms.
What is the general rule of thumb distance for placing the call from your position?
20-80 yards...just really depends on terrain, cover and wind direction on setup
If you’re ever in Oklahoma give me a shout Geoff!
👍
What do you do with the dead coyotes in the back of your truck?
Make coyote kabobs, of course!
What are the make of the shotgun shells? THANKS
Hornady 3" BB
Jeff how do u sight in for ur swagger?
I sight my rifle in using a bench then I practice shooting off of my swagger at small balloons at various distances
Is there a bounty paid by any of the areas you hunt ?
U guys keep the pelts or jus throw them away?
If they are worth any money we sell them
