NDA's All New Deer Steward 1 Course

NDA will launch its all-new Deer Steward 1 course in February 2023. The 3rd edition of Deer Steward 1 offers a new look, new platform, more topics with the latest deer research, and a lineup of new speakers.
Through a unique partnership with Today’s Hunter, hunters who have a high-speed Internet connection (Google Chrome or Apple Safari browser recommended) will start the Deer Steward class online, making Level 1 both convenient and affordable. Once registered, attendees gain access to a digital recording of one of our previous Deer Steward Level 1 courses (filmed in front of a live audience) and will have up to 180 days to complete the series of six sessions (broken down into approximately 16 hours over 20 topics) at their own pace.

Just wondering how this would apply to public land , and can you watch videos as many times as needed ?

Many aspects of the course apply to both private and public lands. We discuss multiple topics in depth relative to deer behavior, movements and home range use, impacts of hunting pressure, preferences in deer forage and seasonal variations in a deer's diet, anatomy and shot placement, recording and analyzing harvest data and several others that are important to both private and public land hunters. And yes, you will be able to review the videos as many times a possible for the 180 days in which you have access to the program.

While there is no discount specifically for folks who have already taken a previous version of Deer Steward 1, we are offering a 35% discount on the new version for the first 350 people who register beginning on February 1, 2023.
