I feel like Rargh has won a bit more I mean in the past few weeks link has only won like once or maybe twice
Attack speed is king. 74 range vs 156 range defence, and 72 slash vs 159 slash defense already puts rargh at a slight advantage in accuraccy, but is effectively the same. A 27 max hit every 4 ticks with d scim vs 21 max hit every 3 ticks with hunter's just means you do more damage with the faster weapon

Vid idea. Maybe if you guys use the item randomiser but instead of using the items for the final fight, it becomes the gear that you must use to kill monsters to get you're gear.

Its nice because if you only get one item per slot and nothing to switch, it can limit the next monsters to get gear from, with limited spins, the strat will have to be insane. Love the idea mate.

@@Coconut-ng5dh the god rune armor has a prayer bonus over regular rune armor too though and he used armadyl ones as regular ones.
Blessed dhide has a def requirement of 40 for all pieces. Black dhide body is the only piece of vanilla with a def requirement. I feel they're a false equivalence due to that alone.

They are a variation(and a downgrade), if rargh had swapped them I wouldn't have argued it, we have lots of unwritten rules
good video idea: 40 spins to get te worst setup for the other in a pvp fight. must fill every spot and must use all the spins.
Boring bec they'd just spin for a rubbish weapon and the fight would be like watching rocks slowly weather away
make the weapon a d.scim and your only spinning for lesser armor.

Curtis Kay-Lassels and maybe only be alowed to fill armour spots, that way they cant empty out their spins in cape slot, with a bit of bad luck you empty out your spin in an armour slot and get bandos for example.

It's not broken when it's faster than d scim, and rigour is more powerful than piety, and rune is better def than addy ;)
We need longer challenges like 4-5 hour ones, but the randomiser is good for changing up the gear atleast

Link had higher range def than Rarghs slash defence.
Both piety and rigour gives 20%def, 23%strength and 20% attack.
Attack and strength bonuses overall was very close.
This is just the power of a 1 tick faster weapon.
Hunter c actually not terrible for pvp world pking because the long animation hides your switch.
Ehh. Rargh had higher slash def than Links ranged def. Rargh had 159 slash def and Link had 156 ranged def. Where I would argue it is broken is when Link is talking about how ranged always kicks the shit out of melee, despite the game spouting that melee beats ranged. Thats what pisses me off about it tbh. Link should just forever forsake melee, but then where is the fun since melee would never be seen again in future challenges.
@@fiskerjeg ranged attack and strength is actually better on faster weapons, so rigour is slightly better than piety here. I think defence numbers has diminishing returns at higher levels. Rarghs chance to hit was probably quite low but he just has way more hits. So yeah it basically just came down the tick speed.
Also for the hunter crossbow, this is so true that nobody will fight against you if you use it. 0 risk while having a stupid fast weapon that lets you run circles. It's so dumb.
Ancheint dhide vambs are the same stats as black dhide except 1 prayer bonus but you guys alowed amar platelegs to be counted as rune platevlegs and they have 1 prayer bonus too
prayer bonus is enough of a difference for them not to be interchangable.

@@valory13 Heraldic addy has the same stat bonuses as normal addy and black dhide trimmed is same stats as normal. The arma platelegs though do have different stats

god d’hide has different stats than black d’hide, whereas god rune and normal rune are just cosmetic differences

Great concept guys, my only suggestion would be to add the randomizer into the time limit so you cant research before hand, when you're under pressure it makes great content! Keep it up guys x
Rargh and Link fight 5 times. Each mini fight is made from the gear from only 25 randomizer spins. Each win earns the winner 25 spins for the final fight 🤔

I’m curious why ya had to get your own ammo in this one; usually in the randomizer videos the ammo is provided when you roll a crossbow/bow
I would have been fine with rargh not getting his own ammo, but obviously he couldnt ask as it would give his plan away so he took it into his own hands

But usually when they do the randomizer they magically get the item. The whole point of this challenge was that they had to get the item themselves within the limit. So Rarghs gets the bolts as an item me is allowed to use without needing to use spins top get it, but obviously he still has to get the bow and bolts himself within the time limit.

Theory craft - crossbow automatically receives top tier ammo unenchanted. Since Rargh wanted the superior ammo (long kebbit bolt), he felt obligated to do it within the time limit?

haven't gotten farther than 20 seconds yet but this is a great idea. the problem with the randomizer is high tier stuff is too easy to get, so this works out perfectly. One thing I think with the randomizer, though, in general, is that either you should need to use items that are repeated (e.g. rune kiteshield) as the specific one you get, or you should remove all the variants of it from the wheel and only have the regular rune kite. Makes it waaaay too common

Yep they should clarify this rule. I think items should only be swappable to those with identical stats (so trimmed is fine but god isn't due to prayer bonus) but if not at least be consistent. Tbf Rargh probably just wasn't thinking.
@@cherrypieforever they did specify in a video a while back. if it's only cosmetic differences, they can swap to equal gear. because the god d'hide has a prayer bonus and black doesn't, they can't switch.

I'm super confused @Link'sOcarina: You said if you got a rune crossbow that you automatically got the best bolts possible unenchanted. Why didn't that carry over onto Rargh's crossbow selection? I feel like if he didn't have to worry about that, he could've planned differently.

Suggestion. Auction off money making methods for ironmen accounts. Players must bid for skills. These are the only skills they can use throughout the video. Could see bidding war for fishing, Fletching, crafting, woodcutting, smiting, mining etc. Just a suggestion

So a tier 60 melee weapon just lost to a tier 50 range weapon when they are on the other end of the combat triangle.
Idk if you’ve done this yet but try something like you get 50 spins and you have to use all spins and what you get the other player uses
if you can trade god rune items then couldnt the black vams replace the god d'hide?
Tier 60 melee weapon with tier 30 armour vs a tier 50 ranged weapon with tier 40 armour. And we all know ranged is broken.

Video Idea: you use the item randomizer for 100 spins, then you each have 24 hours to make costumes of your gear and you virtually slap box each other into submission to adhere to social distancing.
