Guidance. My baby. Have you tried Lattafa’s dupe? I think both of it is a masterpiece! Had I just sampled Guidance, I wouldn’t have appreciated it. I say buy a 5-10ml sample. Wear it a few times. It’s a slow love but once you fall in love, it’ll be your forever.
I'm so glad I got a sample of Wavechild. It smells exactly as you described. I would also add that it smells juvenile

Love these kinds of videos, Erica, please do more of 'em! What do you think of the new Atelier des Ors duo of Blue Madeleine and Villa Primerose? Regarding hyped fragrances that were a letdown for me, I bought Borabora from Giardini di Toscana and IDK, the wear of it isn't that pleasurable for me. I don't find myself reaching for it. I like Celeste better. Guidance, too. You and everyone else get beast-mode performance from it, but for some reason I don't. My other beasts like Erba Gold and Ramon Monegal Flamenco get me compliments, but thus far, I haven't gotten a single comment on Guidance. 🤷♀
I bought a travel spray of DBIR Green Stravaganza today and it is delightful. I also love the OG. Previously, I had bought Dylan Purple (sort of hyped but not tons) and ended up giving it to my granddaughter. I just thought it was a bit too teenagery for me. She loved it! My advice to those who want to test Amouage Guidance…I bought a 2 ml sample and it wasn’t enough for me to decide if I liked it. At first, I didn’t, but then it started to grow on me, but I am still not sure, so am buying a 5 ml sample to give it a good test. It is just so expensive.😬 Loved the content🙂

I love Kayali scents but they have no lasting power for that price, with the exception of a macerated V28 and Sweet Diamond. I only buy travel sizes from them and I'm going to stick with the arab dupes from now on.

Guidance is a walk-in fragrance…I learned not to spray it directly on my skin or clothes. I have the original and I got the Oil Perfumery version, which is less beastmode.
Maybe you got a bad decant… your review was totally off. Don’t recognize anything you described… I have a full bottle and nothing I have experienced about Wavechild is what you said. Different noses….different take on things.

Wavechild was a NO for me. I didn't smell watermelon at all, and the scent itself was just meh.

I agree that Sirene is a stunner ❤ I really want to try new Kayali collection. I have and love Lira but Devotion is so soapy I really dislike it. I also do not like Guidance, always best to test first 😊
Guidance smells lovely to me, but it’s too much 😂. I sprayed ONE spray on my arm and later put on clean a hoodie. Guidance is like a virus 🦠 it smelled up the entire sleeve and wouldn’t budge , I can’t even imagine what would happen to spray directly on clothes

Guidance doesn’t last on me at all.. it’s gone within 4 hours 😅 in general, I’m disappointed in Amouage fragrances.. I don’t get the „oriental charme“ that is expected
What? Omg, a lot of frags don’t last long on my skin but Guidance is a beast! Literally last for weeks on my clothes (a hoodie I left at my daughter’s house made her whole room smell great for 3 weeks!) Have you tried the Lataffa’s version? It smells so good! It doesn’t have that “off putting” opening like Guidance. It’s also “prettier”. More feminine.
Guidance isn’t that strong on me or on my clothes…

I always love your videos but this video wasn't very well thought out. A lot of the perfumes you showed are not that that hyped. There's so many other perfumes out there that are way more hyped.
I've seen all of these except Lionora making their rounds! But agree that there could've been others that I was more curious about that she could have included from her dedicated reviews (Amore Caffe, Creme Brulee).
