A Village I will love to visit every year. Kong shidyap is the loveliest lady I know. The warmth and love she gave us in spite of the communication barrier was heartfelt.
Wow! Thank you for showing us other parts of India. The Northeast people are so beautiful. India is very diverse and rich in culture. Your brothers and sisters from the North, South, Northeast all look like they have different parts of the world in them with shared Indian DNA and ancestry. It’s amazing to see different skin tones, facial features, eye colors, languages etc.. everyone truly magnificent and beautiful the same. India is truly diverse. Incredible! How blessed you are.
This is not a tourist destination video just to popularise this place. I see as a documentary film exploring the culture of Meghalaya, how they live, how they think with a separate identity from India. British did not pay much attention to North East region of India, perhaps India was too big to control for them and more over they found enough resources beside this region. British separated Myanmar (Burma) from India. British made a jail for last emperor of India Bahadur Shah Zafar. After Independence of India first government ignored this region, this was not an interesting vote bank for government. In last 10 years of Modi government has started building infrastructure. I am sure this documentary by these two explorers will certainly help to integrate this region to rest of India, will be very helpful.
There may be misunderstanding or miscommunication as the guy in other video said that we don't respect hindi it's not like that we respect every languages it's just that we rarely speak hindi or we know little about hindi and we also learn hindi in our primary school years, even from catoon and movies😁 hope you enjoyed the trips
She must remember that Mumbai and Delhi don't represent whole India. There are states like rajsthan where people respect NE people a lot but unfortunately she never visited this place ever in her life and stereotype everyone.
