  • Hello Everyone and Welcome!
In this video, my nephew Matt and his son Tristan join me for an overnight camping trip. I have my hammock and they brought their tent. I set a tarp near the fire pit to hide from the rain showers.
We spend the afternoon fishing and enjoying the peaceful area. For supper we cook a few steaks and 2 Bass that Matt caught. I cook the fish using a few tips I got from Marc at Open Air Outdoors. Then we spend the rest of the evening relaxing by the fire.
There's a bit of rain overnight but it stops in the morning .Unfortunately that means I'm going home with wet tarps that I will need to dry before putting away.
Please, join us for this damp and fishy adventure!
    Thanks for watching!

Great to be able to have a campfire. Here in BC there's a province wide fire ban on unfortunately due to the wildfires and hit DRY conditions

@@SuburbanCowboy74 we have been lucky this year. We have been getting just enough rain to keep us having campfires if we are careful.

I just recently subscribed to you. Please tell us whats in that spice. I like your camping style and fishing of course too. Is this in Canada? Your accent is subtle but definetly northern. I'm in West Virginia and do outdoors myself. Thanks for the video :)

Good how to video. Question. Where do you put your pack if it is raining? I suppose if you had a large contractor’s bag you could put your pack in it then lean against a tree? Thanks Anndy

I usually carry a small tarp in the front pocket of the pack. I can cover it after I hang it or put the small tarp on the ground behind my chair underneath my big tarp.
