How To Create A Stripe Account And Link It With WooCommerce

- In this video I show you how you can use Stripe as the payment provider for your WooCommerce webshop. You can also use it for payments with Clickfunnels, Shopify, and other tools.
Stripe is one of the best payment providers out there. You can pay with it from anywhere in the world and you can set up a Stripe account from quite a few countries at this moment. I am talking about Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
You need to have a registered business in order to sign up for Stripe. I will show you how to fill in the information and set up your integration with WooCommerce.
That woocommerce stripe plugin that you installed has pretty bad reviews. Is there any good alternative?

How does that work for iDEAL? I can't get it working...it keeps saying it is in test mode
It should work exactly the same.
De Nederlandse ( of huidige?) versie van Stripe ziet er toch wel iets anders uit. Zo moet je bij het invullen van je webhook ook aanvinken : Luisteren naar gebeurtenissen op gekoppelde accounts en daarna moet je gebeurtenissen selecteren om naar te luisteren. Anders kun je het eindpunt niet toevoegen. Hier snap ik niet wat ik nu moet doen. Wat hulp zou hier heel erg fijn zijn. Ook wil ik graag Ideal toevoegen. Hiervoor moet je nog wat extra informatie toevoegen o.a. je Persoonlijk identificatienummer. Welk nummer bedoelen ze hiermee? Ik hoop dat je mij nog een stapje verder kunt helpen. Vast heel erg bedankt.

can you use it without woocommerce? just stripe? strip has an iDeal option, i saw that on their website, so i m confused why i need to have woocommerce...

Hello Ferdy. I opened an stripe account and they closed it within two days, they havent really explained why- i have been contacting them for 4 days and havent been able to Talk to anyone yet. I have been watching videos on alternatives, seems like a lot of people have problems with PayPal and stripe because they also Hold funds or close the accounts whenever. Might be worth It to make a video of alternatives or options outside this two- I am sure many people would be interested. Thanks 😊. You are amazing. we have woocommerce installed on our website. can we also install Stripe? will they conflict, or is a case of one or the other?

yes you need both, woocommerce is the platform for ecommerce which strip will run with it, Strip is the payment gateway. hope i am not wrong.

Stripe can work in UEA?
How do I use the products that I add in Stripe? What a are those used for? Because stripe only gets the product created from woocommerce.
I have never used that option because I use WooCommerce.

Ferdy your tutorials are truly awesome and I couldn't have build my webshop without you!, However, I had a problem with the Stripe webhook in spite of following everything you said and received a message from Stripe. I've gone back to webhook and requested all event types rather than only the Charge event type. I'm hoping this solves the problem.

Ferdy your videos are always refreshing educative and has so much value but unfortunately the number one barrier we have in Africa is payment gateways.strip shopify payment,paypal etc is not accepted in my continent talk less of my country Cameroon.its like ecommerce wasnt made for Africans.
