There actually is an easier way get a 9v battery the potentiometer then led, 1. Positive from the battery to terminal 2 on the potentiometer. 2. negative battery to terminal 1 potentiometer. 3. Negative battery to the cathode on led 4. Anode to wiper on the potentiometer.
