So nice sound! The bass is a proper, melody-partisipating instrument when Atomic Swing plays. And the sound is still there in 2019 when Niklas Frisk makes music for tv-shows, like "Innan vi dör".
Fun story. I didn't know they went international. I think it was my brother's first cd, they were big here at home in Sweden during those years. I think Niclas Frisk is playing in different consolations now. He has a song called Wondertime, it has few years on the neck but it's amazing.
They toured the world during the 90's, broke up in 1997 and reunited in 2006. Made some rare apperances between 2007-2016. Since 2019, they go on tour in Scandinavia during the summer/fall and make some gig's around Sweden every year.

The music is great, but Niclas' voice sounds uncontrolled and mediocre, almost silly. Compare with Chris Robinson in The Black Crowes who were doing the same '70s thing back then. Or Justin Hawkins in the Darkness a bit later. A great voice is so important.

Saw them live in Perth,West Australia in the early 90's...They were brilliant...
Was that in 1993, I saw them in Sydney that year.
