Such a poor example to your children. Generational poverty. Section 8 does not mean folks do not work. Many folks have section 8 and go to work each day. You staying home on the roles is a beacon for every dead beat no working sit in your couch eat your food watch your tv , take you no where, buy you nothin type dude.

I worked a city job for 25 years i just went out on disability 6 months ago. I have been living in public housing AKA the project's for 25 Year's, raised my kids here and now its just me. Fair market price is over 2,000 or more for two bedrooms which im not paying, i get free light's , electric, , and this is really going to ruffle a few feathers nycha gets free WiFi and basic cable,Yasss queen you think im giving that up they will carry me out of here on my back lol. Now being that im eligible to get my pension they will raise my rent when i do get it but even 1,600 is great,i van still live good. People need to understand what you do or don't do doesn't affect their lives so why should they Care. Section 8 recently opened in New York you should have seen the lines out here, these folks are thirsty for a section 8 voucher,you keep your voucher and live your life

I live in affordable housing and I am extremely thankful I can afford my rent 🙌🏾 If/when I get approved for Sec8 that would be a HUGE relief for myself and my daughter frfr 💯
