This table arrived well packaged and on time. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW Like another reviewer advised, I pulled everything out and made sure everything was included (everything was!). I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!
@@mathanghidevi2108 oh thank you so much for the love and gosh how exciting that you work for Ikea, I do love Ikea for their simple easy to assemble designs that are also a great base for several kinds of DIYs, I wish I could do a lot more! Maybe in the near future 😊

Awesome....I was searching something like this n I am so glad to find it ....ur Choice of selecting tiles makes a huge difference.....Superb..my best wishes....pl more videos
Thank you so much and yes the tiles one chooses decides the final look which makes it so much more exciting as with the same process you can end up with such diverse designs and results 😊
Thankyou. the marble sheet is called mosaic tile and should be easily available in any hardware or tile shop. This is used for kitchen backsplash or for bathrooms
Oh no way these are gorgeous glazed tiles, no point pouring resin on this, and the marble bits also beautifully reflect light only in bits and parts adding almost a bokeh effect... resin is better for non tile surfaces that you want to add a glossy smooth finish to 🙂
It's a tile house selling all kinds of tiles including a small section of the Peranakan inspired tiles... the name is An Huat at Zion Road opp to the Great World City Mall
Very nice and beautiful. I have one question though, since u did buy the grout mix so why didn't u use it to fix the tiles as well instead of using the e6000 glue?
Grout essentially is to add finishing, add rigidity and support to already attached tiles, grout won't hold tiles like the adhesive, they will eventually crack and fall off... gaps you can keep refilling with grout but the base has to be strong and that's the purpose of a tile adhesive... grout won't do that job 😊
@@NestArtfully Sorry, my bad actually! I just got confused with tile cement/mortar with tile grout🙈. Thanks for taking the time to revert. As usual love your content ❤. I would love to see if you create any DIY with air dry clay or polymer clay and one suggestion, if you've left over tiles then you can create small planters!🙂
No worries, and yes I do plan on doing a DIY video with air dry clay 😊 left over tiles are a great planter idea, I only have some marble mosaic tile left and I was planning on just cutting them up and using them as coasters maybe 😉
@@NestArtfully Yes coasters would like great too. Since the marble tiles are flexible, you can even use them on tin cans or any box to give it a "trash to class" kind of look + usability.. Something like stationary holder or make up storage. May be I am boring you now😂.. Hahaha.. U definitely have much better ideas than me. Anyways will wait for more videos. Till then lots of love gal.. Shilpa from India🙂

Yes it is the same as laminate, you'll need to prep surface by using sandpaper and use a good industrial strength glue... you can check at any local hardware store in India, there are several tile adhesives, you can tell them this is the surface 😊
@@NestArtfully Thank you so much .. you know what .. you are so different from the rest of the you tubers because your ideas are unique .. while others just borrow ideas from others and put up a show ..
