That is true to an extent. 40 some odd million units sold... Might not outlast the Switch though. As I think them moving to PC just cannibalized their platform l, making it pointless to get an Xbox. That and a lack of really good exclusive games.
The dumbest argument I ever heard in XBox One's favor was this --- The XBox One can only play in 720P, not 1080P (or at least at first it was this way), so some people actually said this: "Well, 720P IS better than 1080P, it's higher image quality and you can tell it just looks better." ...What?

For people who really think that used games are the scum of gaming for developers; it doesn't make sense. People already bought the said game. The developers got their money for that, now someone else can enjoy it.
it makes sense if you are greedy, basically if I buy a used game from you I didn't give them 60$ so that's 60$ less than they would have made if I had to buy it new (not saying used games are bad, just the logic behind it)

Unity? the *ONLY* way i am going to buy that pile of ass is when that game has all the bugs and performance issues fixed AND they remove all the chests that have to be opened with real money (they exist, i saw them in a video), because i am the kind of person that when i buy the game, i want developers to include everything the game has FOR FREE.
GTAV could do it (and i heard that with the next gen release it might be considered game of the year again) so why can´t the rest of the AAA´s

This is an old video but still EXCELLENT point made. If its an "all in one" machine why can't it play your 360 and Xbox original games? People say "if you want to play your old games just keep the old console.." well that's a great idea except Xbox 360s are not going to be likely to still be working in 5 years. They barely worked new. Fuck Xbox one. They back pedaled from a lot of their bullshit, but 2 things: A) they reserve the right to change anything they want at any time. B) If they're going to try to pull this kind of bullshit once I plain don't trust them.

Microsoft have no sense of direction. They keep saying "Mobile is the future" but shovel out yet another release of Windows every few years. If they were smart, they'd grow a pair of balls and publically announce "Desktop computing is not coming to an end, look at all the things we can offer you on your desktop for improved productivity" and they'd probably do pretty good. Instead they say "Desktop computing is dying, here's another copy of that thing you still like to use which we can't understand why".

I'm just glad I swore to never replace my Original Xbox as long as it was still working. 250GB HDD, still on its original DVD drive, got 3 spare Xbos to transfer the HDD+games to in case my good one dies. It will probably be at least another 13 years before I consider getting a replacement console.
