That's a pretty clean cat to be helping in the shop. Looks more like an office cat to me. I'm doing a seal on a 400D engine and this is kinda like it. Thanks for posting!
@@CookingwithCatLover0330 ? Got any videos that show how to take flywheel on a two cycle lawnboy points I am not getting any spark I replaced my spark plug
I have a question my 1998 lawn boy Gold Pro Series. Is leaking a lot of gas underneath where the blade is it looks like it’s leaking by exhaust pipe. My mower was working great until oneday it was making popping noises (back firing) and it stopped working. Can’t get it to start. I cleaned carb still doesn’t work. It has a new spark and filter. I believe it’s not getting any compression. I noticed the spark plug has been getting wet gas on it too. What do you suggest what parts I should replace and help solve the problem. Thanks
*** Update *** I did a compression test on carburetor it was holding compression. Everything checked out good on the carb and It still wouldn’t start. So I looked under the flywheel and I noticed the Upper Crankshaft Seal for Lawn-Boy part # 611396 was busted and once I noticed that I knew that was probably the reason for not starting it was losing compression. I pulled flywheel replaced seal and put everything together and it started first pull it works great now. If anyone had any issues similar to what my mower had I hope this helps you. Im looking to get it powder coated and it’ll look & work better than a brand new mower.
If your 2 stroke is leaking gas out of the exhaust your cylinder is scored. Take off the muffler and check the exhaust port to see if the piston is scraped up
The #s have changed over the years. I'm not in the garage so I can't give you a number but if you google "lawn boy crank case gasket" you should get something. Look on Parts Tree, or Stens Parts, or Jack's small engine parts. One of them might have them.
Question for you. I have a 1979 lawn boy and I was wondering if I should stick to the 32:1 or go to 40:1. Can these old mowers handle 40:1? I'm using regular 2 stroke engine oil nothing fancy. Thank you!
My husband switched to Amsoil, which is 100:1. He did this last year after a customer said he had been using it for 20 years in his Lawn Boy. Great question!
Hello Cat that's a self propelled mover I noticed the belt on top of the Deck by rear wheels and do you think that steel deck could be sand blasted or would it be a waste of time and money
I don't know about sand blasting. We don't do that and if we thought it would be worth it, we would list it. But..... The shipping is what gets a lot of people. Thanks for the question.

Great videos, but they're all kinda old. Are you folks still in the Lawn Boy biz? I'm looking for some parts for a D400 engine.
Excellent lawn boy video
Thanks! I will let Rod know. I'm hoping he will be willing to do more.
great work, nice sharing! liked:)
Thanks my friend many greetings :-)
Thanks, Guys!

It might just be the carb. Check the needle and seat.

Do you have carburetor for the lawn boy duraforce and how can I tell if crankshaft is bent?
We do have the carb you need. As for the crankshaft, I'm not sure. I will have to ask Rod.
Cat Lover ok
Do you happen to know the part number for the crank case gasket?

What is the difference between the L21 and S21?
