The M3 makes such a glorious and dignified sound. What happened with that Mini, did they downshift from high revs from the corner or something?

I'll have a diagnosis next video. Looks like a pulley let go and shredded some belts causing the water pump to stop. The fluid came out of the reservoir thankfully. All the smoke looks like it was just overflow landing on the exhaust. Super lucky

That Type R really gave the M3 some trouble, but there's no replacement for displacement... or that glorious exhaust note

Turbo cars blow up, normally aspirated cars do not. I know that is an over exaggeration, but there is a lot of truth to it.

@@TedwardDrives turbocharged engines are under a lot more stress than a normally aspirated engine. They tend to break more especially under racing conditions, and they tend to be less durable in the long-term. It is what it is.

Oh totally agreed. Every old Turbo is suffering from leaky feed and return lines 😂

@@TedwardDrives or worse. I would love to own a mini, they drive great they're small they're lightweight and they're awesome. But BMW makes them crappy with plastic engine parts and poor reliability. So, unless I could be convinced otherwise they are unbuyable.
