OCMC - 6 hour 2023 - A bike wont start, I lose my rear brake, still an absolute smashing event.

- What a fantastic event, they just keep on getting better, tho we do probably need to work on our tactics to keep fresh, and skills to ya know be half competitive as those OCMC racers are bloody fast. haha

hells yeah and if you dont want to team up, you can just go solo for 6 hours like an absolute madman.
I will definitely bring a teammate haha I have okay speed but endurance needs work lol 6 hours is madness!

As the kid in the pit said, eh brakes only slow you down. And as found out, sand really slows you down when you only have a front brake 🤣
10:22 The hill on the left was a bit steeper, but had a deep rut. If you got off center, your foot peg would grab and kill your momentum. Ask me how I know....
ahhhhhhh, that totally makes sense, i figured it was the angle that threw people off, but yeah it makes way more sense there was a gnarly rut.
Better to be slower and come home grinning like a goon than worrying about points and beating yourself up because someone else is faster.
The smiles went for miles even after the panic of the bike not starting and no brakes haha. Im more inspired by how awesome other people ride, than bothered by my slowness, if that makes sense? haha
