Nelson, hate to be the one to break it to you, but your opponent is probably able to see your game. You should invest in non reflective glasses if you're going to play chess seriously
Yeah you got a point, i mean the opponent can see the moves nelson is gonna make before he does so. Id recommend a blindfold
I don't understand the problem? There is nothing to hide and the opponent shouldn't even have access to his webcam?
@@enderyu you missed the joke
@@RayCodes oh
@@enderyu oof
Nelson: trades queens, regrets it, still wins
Me: lets opponent make trade instead but oops my queen wasn't defended, resigns, tilts, throws next 3 games
Yeah yeah.😉
I agree.😄
I mean you didn't get 3 extra queens but you managed to convert 2. That's pretty wild in a +2000 ELO game.
As a chess player, when the opponent offers a queen trade, most likely it is just free development for them
Yeah, generally you only offer a trade which either benefits or maintains equality in a tricky position. I try to avoid early queen trades unless my opponent has to recapture with their king before castling
@@levistepanian5341 when i was starting, it was just: "Oh a free queen" without even realising that i can't castle anymore. However, a few gambits get rid of this problem, the magnus gambit and the bongcloud. You do not need to worry about castling if you are unable to do it anyway.
The magnus gambit is where you waste the first 6 moves rearranging the king and queen, low low elo rockstars try to scholars mate that ☕
@@levistepanian5341absolutely, if you’re up then use queen trade to your advantage. If you’re down, then find a queen trade to get yourself out of a sticky situation. 🤝
Nelson I really appreciate you dedication in teaching us chess. You show us all you thoughts, moves and yes blunders. You have your ego under control, better than I mine. Thank you from a little 900……..

Love these analyses! Thanks so much. You’re a joy to learn from.
you liquidated your pieces but unfortunately, you were DOWN a piece b4 you liquidated so... I think that's kind of a rule. Liquidate is okay if you are the one with MORE pieces. More pieces is stronger than less pieces because you have more ways to attack. I think. hehe
I love your opponent. Both his name AND his rating are great.
Nom nom nom
Such a hard lesson when you win.
LOL three extra queens 0:48
A good example to showcase how important the endgame is.
Nelson: *Trades Queens*. Oh I should not have traded Queens!
*Ends up winning after unlimited moves*.
Lighty Space (Me): *Playing Qe2*
Yay!
*Ends up winning after a few moves*.
a2 to a4 then one more push kicks the knight away at least. Or push left side pawns and try to promote one? Seems you still had ways to win, maybe.
What if instead you took the knight with the rook and gave check (defended by the bishop) then could you win the queen on the next move?
Bishop protecting queen
Right. I wasn't looking at the position as I made my comment, forgot bishop was there. At least queen could then get away on the next move instead, Qc4+ since the knight is no longer guarding that square
Bro got glasses
this was a pretty interesting game
At 6:02 can white play h3 and attack the bishop so they dont loose the knight and they can open up the rook?
After h3, black takes the knight and white can not take the bishop, because the checkmate on e2: Qe2#.
11:25 "It's kinda..." how chess do.
Props to currymuncher713 for putting up a good game
Nelson, can you show your lose games also?
He shows them all the time…
Your looking cool in that glasses 😅

8:42 Why not take the Knight with the Rook?
