Tried it... came out excellent 😍 just a bit alteration was done, i shallow fried the marinated chicken and used that oil to saute the onions.

Hi salu chechi. I made this today but with few alterations. Used chicken thigh fillets (boneless) and normal big onion for the marination. Mainly becoz I couldn't get small onions here. Anyways, it turned out AMAZING! I'm sure with small onions it would have been a notch higher in taste. But both me and hubby loved it. I made simple pepper rasam to go with it. The combo was just delicious. Fantastic and simple chicken varatt! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
