It looks really cool in the lame flake! It is a cool looking chassis and seems to drive rather, didn't look out of shape at all. I have one on order that is taking forever to ship but it should be here soon. No idea when i will get around to building it! LOL! Kudos to your wife for juggling the recording and keeping the little man from stealing the camera! They seem to be like an octopus when they want something!! LOL!!!
I think these have a lot of potential. I see Tamiya coming out with an all wheel drive version.. I think they need some other body options. Maybe a corvette or a muscle car of some sort, but I guess that’s where proline or tbg could come in. The front motor rwd setup I think is the winner.
Nice build! Simple but effect8ve paint job too! To get the real supra experience i suggest u to set the car front wheel drivd. The car is basically a nice extented mb01 chassis, cool starter.
Cheers Richard, glad you liked the paint, it wasn’t gonna be my first choice. Pleased with it though, looks great in the sun. Good fun to drive as well, nicely surprised by it
I know technically it should of had the motor at the front , but I wanted to try it out of the box first , plus I like the way it handles, I may change the configuration at some point. I think REX rc has tried the other chassis layouts
Yes, I agree with you about the tab. The thing that confused me when making this chassis front engine rwd is the back of the chassis becomes the front-end but the instructions don't say to move the arm, so now the posts are at the front with no drive shafts
It’s pretty big although I think the Supra body makes it look longer. It’s pretty standard chassis length otherwise. I’ve really enjoyed it so far and looking forward to trying some proper races tyres on it
I must admit I didnt have this problem, I did try it with racing slicks on a carpet track and added oil shocks and it performed quite well , there is quite a bit of slop in the car but I don’t think it’s any worse than some other Tamiya products. Cheers for your comment
yea, part of the fun with Tamiya stuff is working out the kinks, add a shimm, take out a shim, run it with bushings, then bearings, "its a process"
Yep it usually is , I’m telling myself do not go over board with this build 😜
That is a very nice looking Supra, great job! And a very interesting looking chassis, odd but interesting.....
Really looks nice Andy!
Looks great Andy! Really looking forward to building this chassis!
Love the super Supra body Andy.I’ll bet the sun really interacts with that paint job! It looks like it drives and handles great😃💯!
Bought one and installed a brushless setup. It's a rocket!!
Great stuff! Not got that far with it but definitely thinking of a possible quicker motor at some point

Nice job on the body! It looks like there's lots of options with this new chassis.
Cheers , it’s definitely a kit which gives you lots of options, looking forward to see what other body types become available
Great stuff mate.! 👍 👍 👍
Much appreciated Alan glad you liked it, cheers for watching ;)
I might have to get one of these
I really love the supra shell, and that paint 👌 perfect. Deffo looks realistic spinning the back end out 😁

@@andyrobinsonrc2480 if i get one, its just going to be plain white, boring i know. But a white supra in 1-1 scale is in my dream car garage 😁
You should have made it a fm rwd.

@@andyrobinsonrc2480 yes he has and he likes the front motor battery rear rear wheel drive handling the best.

It’s really a neat little car it’s been pretty well thought out and will do multiple things
Man that thing is huge. Wasn't expecting it to be that big. Quite fancy one myself now 😂
